Name: Sophie Foster
Lover: Keefe 😍
Background Info:
Sophie decided to take her friends to the Forbidden cities and rent a log cabin for a week. She takes along Fitz, Biana, Keefe, Dex , Grady and Edaline. (we are going to pretend that sandor is non-existent in this one shot ok)
Sophies POV:
My eyes shot open. Its just a dream, just a dream.
But this one felt so real.
Dammit. I suddenly got the feeling that I had to pee. Quickly glanced at the clock I made my decision.
Three thirty. Might as well go.
Quietly, I stumbled out of bed and tip-toed to the bathroom across the hall. The squeaky squeaky floors were making it impossible to stay silent.
Then, as I was approaching the door to the bathroom, my mind started to wander. It was Keefe I was thinking about and how happy he looked the day before.
I quickly shook my head. This is Keefe we're talking about. I can't like Keefe. Besides, I'm probably not even his type.
Pushing that thought away, I did what I had to do and made my way back to my bedroom.
"Hey Foster,"
The sound of his voice made me jump. "Good Lord, Keefe."
"Soo, what's the Mysterious Miss F up to now?"
"What are you doing here?" I snapped, making sure to keep my voice low.
"Thought I'd just check up on my favourite girl." Keefe whispered. It was dark and I can only see the silhouette of Keefe's body laying on my bed. As if he was reading my mind, he leaned over and turned the lamp on.
Keefe had his back propped up against the headboard, with his feet crossed and his hand behind his head. Clearly he got comfortable.
"Well I appreciate the thought, but it's three in the morning." I heaved, motioning to the door.
"Ouch Foster. And I really thought you'd want me to stay, but I'll forgive you for now." He smirked, but there was a hint of sadness in it. "I'm not leaving until you tell me what's going on--and before your brain starts coming up with the perfect lie, remember I'm an Empath."
Unbelievable. I knew he was enjoying this. "How did you even get in here anyway? I didn't hear footsteps or anything."
He smiled deviously. "You see Foster, you'll never know. I'm sneaky like that." He stated proudly.
Well, I guess he's right about that one.
"C'mon Foster, what's wrong?" He started to pat an empty spot on my bed to where I was sleeping.
Ughhh. I guess we are really doing this. Slowly, I made my way to my bed and sat the way he did. As much as I hated this, I couldn't help feel a bit relieved that Keefe was here. Like all my worries would melt away as he talked to me--protected me.
"So," he began to say, "what's wrong with you this time?"
"Wooowww, very funny Keefe," I started, "but I'm fine, it...was just a bad dream."
Keefe probably guessed that was the problem, but it still didn't stop the colour draining from his face.
"Well," he began, his voice sounded more worried. "It must have been a really scary dream for me to feel your fear all the way in another room."
I shuddered, bringing my knees to my chest to give me more support.
"Foster, I'm worried about you. Are you sure your alright?"
"Yes, trust me, I'm fine. And as Alden says 'There's no reason to worry'" Keefe just stared at me.
"Ugh, I probably look like a mess."
"No, you don't. You look...beautiful." He smiled as my stomach filled with butterflies. He probably was just saying that to make me feel better.
He hesitated before saying, "Ok fine, but I'll let it pass this time only because Alden is a very wise man."
I giggled. Keefe did too. Then we started talking about random things afterwards. Keefe had always been easy to talk to, but this time he seemed a bit nervous. Before I knew it, it had already been half an hour.
"Listen, Sophie," He began. His gaze moved from my eyes to his fidgeting hands. Keefe usually never says my first name unless something's really bothering him.
"You know you can tell me anything." I assured him.
"This is different though." He gulped.
"Different how? Keefe whatever it is, I'll help you."
"I-I LIKE YOU SOPHIE." He spat out. "Like really like you."
It was quiet then. He continued, "I have liked you for a while now but I didn't know what to say."
I was still quiet. Questions were racing through my head, but I finally built up the courage to say the most important one.
"Why?" was all that came out. I knew it was stupid but I needed to know.
"Your different, Sophie. I like that. Your brave, smart, funny, kind, the list could go on and on forever."
My palms were really sweaty by now, and my brain couldn't quite make up a sentence yet.
"But the most important one," He began, "is that you care for the people you love. And you will always fight for what you believe in."
I couldn't believe it. Keefe Sencen likes me. And the more scary part was that I liked him back.
My heart was pounding and I knew he could feel it. I looked up into his ice blue eyes, nervous. But I didn't back out.
Then, he kissed me. It was short, but it meant something.
"Keefe," I said after pulling away from the kiss, my heart was pounding so hard, "I like you too."
This gave him the courage to say, "How about you be my girlfriend then?"
I smiled. "Who wouldn't want to be your girlfriend?"
We both giggled and kissed for the last time.
"Oh by the way," he said , "I levitated."
We both fell asleep that night, on our sides, holding each others hands.
