Ebony pov
I squinted, my head throbbed and I felt hot and cold at the same time, "Am I dying?" I asked the empty space in front of my eyes. Fred's head appeared in my view, "Am I dying?" I asked again,
"You're not dying, Ebs," I heard Bella's voice,
"I'm dying," I accepted,
"You're not," George piped in,
"I might be..."
"You're not dying," Fred smiled, "I won't let you," I nodded and went to close my eyes until Madame Pomfrey's head came into view,
"You're not dying, Miss Lestrange," she told me, "You just have a very nasty case of the flu," I nodded again and went to go to sleep but Pomfrey stopped me, "I need you to stay awake, Miss Lestrange. You need some water and food,"
"Turn off the light first," I sighed, Pomfrey disappeared, the lights went off, and then she appeared again. Fred helped me to sit up, and Pomfrey put a piece of bread and jam in front of me. I ate slowly, then once I was done, Pomfrey placed a large bottle of water beside me. I drank and felt better, I drank the entire bottle and then looked at Pomfrey for more.
"That's good," Pomfrey smiled, "You should be alright to watch the 3rd Task this afternoon," she walked off then, leaving me with Fred, George and Bella.
"How long have I been in here?" I asked, looking around the medical wing,
"A few months, 4 at most," George shrugged,
"4 months!" I yelled, then quieted down, "4 months?!"
"You were really sick, Ebs," Bella came over and sat on the bed, "I was really worried,"
"I'm fine, Bella," I told her. She nodded slowly,
"You don't remember anything from the last few months?" questioned Fred,
"Not much," I shrugged, "I remember a few times that I woke up. I need to get up and stretch," Bella moved and I threw the covers off. I stepped onto the floor and stumbled sightly, all three of them went to help me but I shook my head. I stumbled a little bit but soon I was walking around, "Bella," I sighed, "Can you bring me some clothes?" Bella nodded and ran off.
Later that day
At lunchtime, I agreed to go down to lunch in the Great Hall, but because I still joked about dying Fred made me sit on his lap and I cuddled into his shoulder.
"Fred, George," Lee came up to us, "I have the perfect idea for a prank, come with me and we'll see if it's Lestrange worthy," he seemed really excited and George got up and went to go with him, but Fred stayed put,
"Sorry," he shrugged, "I can't,"
"Why?" Lee and George asked together,
"I have a clingy and feverish Lestrange on my lap. I'll come when I've convinced her that a case of the flu doesn't mean she's dying," Fred responded, softly playing with my hair.
"Fair enough," Lee shrugged and went off with George.
Afternoon
Bella pov
The champions emerged from below the stands and we all cheered.
"Earlier today Professor Moody placed the Tri-Wizards cup deep within the maze," Dumbledore announced, "Only he knows its exact position. Now as Mr Diggory..." the crowd cheered, "and Mr Potter tied for first position they will be the first to enter the maze. Followed by Mr Krum..." the Durmstrang boys cheered, "The first person to touch the cup will be the winner. I've instructed the staff to patrol the perimeter, if at any point should a contestant wish to withdraw from the task he or she need only send up red sparks with their wands. Contestants, gather round,"
