Bella pov

"You coming Ebony?" I asked my sister, who was sitting at her desk, surrounded by books.

"Can't," Ebony answered, "The Ball has put me behind on my school work, I haven't studied since. The thrill of it has only just worn off,"

"It's been two months!" I commented,

"I know," Ebony nodded and then went back to her books.

"Your loss," I shrugged. I went down to the common room and then walked down to the Black Lake with the rest of Hogwarts, Beauxbaton, and Durmstrang. As I walked Fred and George walked past me with a box,

"Place your bets," George told the people who went past,

"I'm with Potter," I placed 5 galleon's in the box,

"You're the only one!" Fred laughed, they kept going, other people placed bets and I continued down to the lake and sat next to Ginny.

"Where's Ron and Hermoine?" I asked her,

"I haven't seen them since this morning," Ginny shrugged, "They're probably down with
Harry, helping him,"

"Welcome to the second task," Dumbledore announced over a loudspeaker, "Last night something was stolen from each of our champions. A treasure of sorts. These four treasures, one for each champion, now lie on the bottom of the black lake. In order to win each champion need only find their treasure and return to the surface. Simple enough. Except for this, they will have one hour to do so and one hour only. After that they'll be on their own. You may begin at the start of the cannon,"

A loud cannon went off and Fleur, Viktor and Cedric dived into the water. Harry was pushed. He struggled under the water but then he flew over the water like a dolphin. Ginny, the crowd and I cheered loudly as Harry dived back under the water.

After a while, Dumbledore spoke again, "The Beauxbatons champion Miss Delacour has unfortunately been forced to retire. She will take no further part in this task,"

Another few minutes and Cedric and Cho appear from the lake. I cheered with everyone else. Then Viktor and Hermoine popped up, I cheered again. The Durmstrang boys started chanting, "Krum! Krum! Krum!"

A few more minutes passed and Ron and a blonde girl came up coughing and spluttering. Harry came up a a few seconds later, flying out of the water and onto the platform. The crowd cheered loudly as Dumbledore talked, "Attention! Attention! The winner is... Mr Diggory! For showing unique command of the bubblehead shark!" the crowd cheered louder than ever.

"Shit!" I sighed, knowing I had just lost 5 galleons.

"The way I see it," Dumbledore continued, "Mr Potter would have finished first had it not been for his determination to rescue not only Mr Weasly but the others as well. We've agreed to award him second place! For outstanding moral fibre," I cheered with the rest.

I walked back toward Hogwarts with Ginny when a Durmstrang boy came up to us,

"Are you Ebony Lestrange?" he asked,

"No, I'm Ebony's twin sister, Bella," I told him,

"I was hoping for that," the boy smiled, "My name is Anders Hansen,"
