"mona get up, we're going to be late" "mhm" she said snuggling closer to her pillow, she thought mary had left when suddenly she felt water pour all over her, "MARY" she said in shock, mona looked over at a laughing Mary, so she decided to throw a wet pillow at her face, which quickly wiped that smile away.

mona walked into the great hall and sat with her friends, James on her left, Sirius on her right and peter and Remus in front of them, "wow what happened to you?" Sirius said, clearly picking up on mona's tiredness, mona just shrugged and said "just tired i guess" not mentioning the events that occurred just a few hours before.

she took a quick look over to the slytherin table, she doesn't know what she was looking for but she quickly realised the absents of a certain grey-eyed boy

actually the more she looked, the more she noticed, there were a lot of Slytherins missing.

she snapped out of her thought when she heard her friends all laughing, she followed their gaze to the group of Slytherins walking into the great hall.

wearing pink robes.

mona couldn't contain her laughter, her and her friends were doubled over and Sirius started leaning on mona to not fall of the bench when Severus Snape, him walking over just made James laugh even more but it was clear Snape was not in a laughing mood

"alright there snivilous?" said James as Snape walked closer, Snape was about to retort when lily came into view

its no secret that Snape is in love with lily, i mean it was quite obvious, especially to James

"walk with me Severus?" lily said not waiting for a reply as she grabbed his arm and started walking off

James started talking to the marauders but mona wasn't paying attention as she noticed a light blonde girl staring at her from the Ravenclaw table. Pandora lestrange

she was in the year above Mona so they never talked to one another.

but Pandora had a reputation for being weird, saying things are going to happen before they actually do, mona thinks back to an incident that happened last year

"donna hearten?" spoke Pandora in her naturally dreamy voice causing the small third year ravenclaw to look up with a smile "yeah that's me?" she said when Pandora's smile suddenly dropped "im sorry for you loss" she said causing Donna to look at her confused but before she could say anything Pandora left.

the girl sent a letter home telling her family about the incident, but was shocked when her family told her, her father had passed away just moments ago, the girl became even more confused and even slightly angry, she stormed up to Pandora during the dinner meal and starting yelling "how did you know? he just passed moments ago, HOW DID YOU KNOW!?" Donna spoke with tears flooding from her eyes.

Pandora just sat there saying nothing, no emotions visible on her face, some older Hufflepuff's took Donna away while Pandora just continued to eat. not caring about the looks and whispers going on around her.

Mona saw Pandora's gaze avert from her and when she followed it she saw Regulus black, he must have felt the eyes on him because he turned, finding Pandora looking at him, he just gave her a confused look as she smiled and turned her gaze back to Mona, looking like she knew something the two didn't.

Mona just rolled her eyes and went back to eating her breakfast.

mona saw the professors handing out the class schedules but when she got hers, she realised she had a lot of classes with the Slytherins causing her to groan and roll her eyes

James clearly noticing Mona's destress, took a look at her time table and laughed "its not funny prongs, they are the worst" she complained as Mary took a look, comparing her own with Mona's "its not so bad, besides you have me for herbology, D.A.D.A and care of magical creatures" Mary said while listing off the classes.

Mona was about to say something but decided not to and just grabbed her stuff and started heading to her first class, which was transfiguration.

mona walked in to the classroom, taking the desk at the back, this was one of the classes that she has with the Slytherins.

mona just sat there, daydreaming as people made their way into the classroom, she jumped as she saw a blond slytherin girl sit next to her, mona being confused looked around and saw many other seats available.

but before she could question it the girl turned in her seat and held out a hand "hello, im Lydia, Lydia Knightswood"  Knightswood? why does that name sound familiar? Mona thought but just left it alone not wanting the nice girl hanging, she shook her hand with a smile "im Mona prewett", the two begin to converse as more people flooded in the room.

Mona was confused when the slytherin boy Even Rosier stopped at her table but quickly figured it out as Lydia turned around and kissed him, making mona look away.

they hugged as another boy, one all to familiar walked in and hit Rosier with a book "alright enough of that, we need to get a seat" regulus said smiling, a smile that dropped the moment he saw mona, "merlin don't tell me you in this class?"

" me? no im just sitting in the room, with my books and equipment just for fun" she replied sarcastically making the boy roll his eyes and mummer a small "whatever" and started to dragged Rosier to the free seats at the front of the room.

"oh and black?" said mona gaining the attention of said boy, "pink really is you colour" she said with a smirk gesturing to the boys pink robes, a loud heard of laughter was heard from the boy next to regulus , making the dark haired boy elbow him

The blonde boy doubled over in pain as the professor walked in

"all right class, in your seats, now as you may know the classes you have this school year will be in preparations for you O.W.L.S at the end of the year, so i expect you all to focus on what i teach you" professor McGonagall said before starting the class.

"ugh its only Monday and im already ready to quit" said Mary as she dropped in the spot next to Mona at lunch making her smile with a small laugh.

"merlin same here, not to mention quidditch starts next week, and no doubt my brothers will make us get up at five am to practice" said mona biting into her sandwich

"talking about us are you now" spoke a voice followed by a laugh as mona jumped, almost falling out of her seat.

"pff as if" said mona glaring at the boys but quickly smirked "also nice prank on the Slytherins this morning" she said making the boys grin

, Gideon sat on the right of Mona while Fabian sat next to Mary. Mona saw the slight blush on Mary's check as Fabian started talking to her and smirked , she was defiantly going to annoy Mary with it later.

Hey guys just letting you know that these are all unedited for the moment I'm obviously going to edit them but I'm more just focused on getting the actual writing done for now.
