Chapter VIII: Silly Argument

You and Alastor have been roaming around the City talking about Such random things, with Shopping bags on hanging on your wrist and his. laughing along the way, not even giving a Fuck about the Chaos around the two of you.

Devils, Turning their Heads to look at your way, but Realizing Alastor beside you. They turned back to what they were up to.

You wouldn't deny. You felt really safe beside him.

As you Two were walking You start to tell him a summary of your past. "Well, you see It was Kinda them protecting me about The Dangers of This Hell and Stuff. They've insolated me for Years and Years on end. Saying it's for my own Good." You muttered, he was silent.

Although You were sure He was paying attention. "They said it's to keep me from corruption. From getting Taken away from them.. especially by overlords" He paused. Eyeing you Curiously.

"I understand the few phrases although you lost me at things about overlords. What exactly do you mean?" He raised, locking his eyes at you

You shrugged. "I guess that's the next thing to tell you some other day."

He sighed "how about you, That Guy from where we first met. Why were you having a deadly battle will him?" You questioned.

"Well.. He's no one you should put your Pretty little head to, although if you really wanna know, He's Vox" Alastor rejoindered your question.

It's surprising that He even answered you so suddenly.

"He is My Rival, We've been fighting for Centuries and He still haven't accepted Defeat."He sighed, making such an emotion of annoyance.

"And I believe he would do anything to ruin me." He continued.

You Gazed at His way, "and.. what is he?" You asked

"An Egotistical Tyrant" he simply answers, mocking Him.

You shook your head, "no, seriously what is he?"You asked, now stopping to walk further.

"He's Nothing but a Sinner Demon, Don't Pret Darling." He retorted.

"And.. what exactly made you upset with him?"

"I'm not Upset, I just don't agree with his views with technology." He replied.

It made you sniffle your laugh. "You're fighting with a Television Demon.. what's even is the prize of this Rivalry. More fans, users?"You asked amused, trying to be serious but Failed.

A Radio Fighting with the New Technology of spreading news? Is that what they're fighting about.

He sighed. "To be quite honest, I don't care what he does. He is Amusing when he's Angry  Especially at times that he knows, He's no match for me." He gave you his sadistic grin

You rolled your eyes at His cocky response. It's hilarious to even imagine. But if you were being honest. You somehow believe him, Seeing even only a little of Alastor's Abilities. You can tell he's a Powerful Demon. You Just don't know what he really is.

And you have a feeling you don't wanna know. Especially when you're still eyeing about the Overlord your parents always warned you about.

Something about a Guy being so Dangerous that could could tear you Limb by Limb and still enjoy you screaming in agony..

Even the imaginary thoughts shook you to the core.

Although with such places both of you been through, your eyes wondered on the flashing lights in the City.

"Be careful, now, Darling. You don't wanna be a lost little sheep" he muttered gazing at where your eyes are looking.

He let out a Grunt when He realized it was the Lustful Industry were what you've been looking at.

"Let's not go there."He smiled at you and turned around the other way.

You raised an Eyebrow."but why?"You asked.

"Just.. Let's not, alright? End of discussion" He retorted.

That only made you Curious.

"But I wanna.."You were persistent. He cupped His face using his hand.

"I swear to Hell's 7 rings. You're gonna regret this.."He spoke groaning.

You rolled your eyes at Him, he's acting like an overprotective parent

You narrowed your eyes at Him, As He was looking at you expecting to believe him.   Because no way in hell he's gonna come with you there.

You crossed your arms, "you said I could go anywhere I wanted, now you're stopping me. I wanna go there" you pouted acting like a kid to just make him miserable.

He sighed, His Hand on the bridge of His Nose Before looking at you, plastering his Typical smile.

"Alright then, suit yourself. My darling." His smile was threatening. Like a Father giving you a warning but you just shrugged it.

You walked Inside and you were met with a Loud Bass Music, Lights Flashing, it didn’t make you comfortable in the slightest. The unfamiliarity of the people around you, the uneasiness of your surroundings- the shockwaves of the booming bass that made it feel like the whole building was short of collapsing in on itself.

There were Dancers, on stage. Dancing so Erotically. Their Hands playing around their Body, touching each and every part. Seductive looks and smirks plastered on their faces.

You know you should've listened to Alastor but you wouldn't give Him Pride because of that.

You immediately stormed off, Flustered. As He was waiting for you outside, "see." He grinned as you Rolled your eyes at him.

"Maybe if you did say what it was in that Building I wouldn't have bothered coming in!" You snapped as He scoffed.

"I already warned, you Mademoiselle. But you don't listen to anything I say." He sighed.

"Why must we Even Have this silly argument?" He groaned

You looked away, He was right. You know it, although You would never admit such a thing.

Your Dignity and Goal to Piss Him off is stopping you from being too Humble around Him.

Although with the Acts Of Pampering, you're still Trying to be Vigilant. After all, it'd only been Two days and a Night you're with him

And You already gave him your first Kiss and also sold your soul already.

You don't want him to think you're too Easy to Handle.

You sighed as You felt The City sky getting more Darker and He Realized it too.

Alastor Held your Hand.."Let's go, it's getting Dark." He spoke, you narrowed your eyes at him.

"Would you please Stop Touching me whenever you felt like it?" You groaned in annoyance.

You felt yourself flush although you didn't Looked at him...
Him holding your hand makes everyone think you're some Sweet Couple.

You just shook your head, Removing those silly thoughts on your Mind.
And focused on The More shining Light in the City.

"But your House is like a couple miles away, I didn't even know how we walked it this far."You responded quite Honestly.

He just gave you a slight glance of reassurance and continued walking. You just followed His lead.

And you went into a Familiar path. You noticed, He brought you towards The Same Building where He persisted you to come with him.

"And.. what are we doing here, exactly?"You asked, narrowing your  eyes at Him

"We're gonna stay for the night."He simply answered, knowing on the door.
