Chapter 30

Shinori paced around his room.

He felt like he was stuck in a bad place. He felt wrong. He felt dirty and no amount of showering could change that.

Sakura sat up in his bed and looked at him. "See? It's not that bad, right?"

Shinori didn't glance at her.

"Look," Sakura said. "All you have to do is cooperate. We make them jealous, then we can both be with the one we love!"

"This must mean a lot, or absolutely nothing, coming from me, but you're crazy."

"Nope, just in love. I thought I would be able to just move on, get over Sasuke, but I can't. I love him so much, more than ____ ever would! He deserves to be with me."

Shinori sighed and shook his head.

"Happy six months!" Naruto said with a huge grin as he played with the twins. He sat on the couch and they sat in their swings in front of him. Hinata sat in the recliner to the side.

I chuckled. "Naruto, lower your voice."

The twins laughed and grabbed at his fingers. "They love me," he said. "Makes me wanna have another baby." He glanced at Hinata.

"I think two is enough," she said with a giggle.

"Ya know, another doesn't sound so bad," Sasuke said as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Well, then why don't you pop out a baby?" I teased with a smile.

Sasuke rolled his eyes.

"Hey, guys!" A voice said as they walked inside.

"....How did you get into my house?" I said.

Sakura shrugged. "It was unlocked so I let myself in."

"Hey," Shinori muttered.

Sakura hugged his arm and smiled. "So, what's up guys." Shinori stiffened and stared down at her.

"Shinori looks really uncomfortable," I said. "But, we're fine. How are you two?"

"We're amazing!" She said. "Shinori and I are in love."

"Congrats," Hinata said with a smile.

"Yeah," I said.

"Who's a cutie? You two are~" Naruto cooed at the twins.

"What do you think, Sasuke?" Sakura said.

Sasuke shrugged. "As long as your happy, I don't care."

"Yeah," I agreed. "As long as you're happy, Sakura. Shinori is a good-ish person."

"Good-ish?" Shinori said.

"Yup," I said. "Naruto, do you wanna feed them?"

"Yes, please!" He exclaimed. By now, he had Mikoto sitting on his lap, as Sakumo slept in his swing.

"He's so lazy," Sasuke said. "Like someone I know." Sasuke looked at me.

I yawned and stretched as I stood up. "Wait what? I'm not lazy!"

"I think they forgot about us," Shinori said.
