She fell asleep on my shoulder and I turned on some tv and fell asleep a couple minutes later. I woke up to her parents phone call. I gently got up and placed Rebecca's head on one of the couch pillows.

Rebecca's Mom, Karen: REBECCA! GET OVER TO ERIK'S HOUSE RIGHT NOW! SOMETHING IS HAPPENING TO HIS MOTHER. I CAN'T TALK NOW I HAVE TO GO. I NEED TO CALL 911!

I could feel the adrenaline pumping in my veins. It wasn't happy or exciting like you would think. It was of total fear. I ran over to the couch and woke Rebecca up.

Erik: Something's happening to my mother. We need to go over there right now!

I yelled but I couldn't scream because it was 3 in the morning. My mother might be dying. I started to feel dizzy and scared. My mother might die! Tears ran down my face at the thought of my mother not being with me anymore.

We rushed over there as quick as we could. What was my mother doing? What was my dad doing? I'm so confused

As we burst through the unlocked door, I saw my mother on the floor.

Erik: MOM!!!

I screamed so loud, the neighbors lights started turning on. Some of them just yelled that they were tyring to sleep or something. Doors started opening and people came running out of their houses and rushing over to the scene, wondering what was going on.

My mother layed there, silent and my father was no where to be seen. I dropped to the floor, tears running down my face. There was a pool of blood around my mom. Rebecca was hugging me, trying to wake up from the dream that this had to be. Ambulences and police cars started to appea outside of my house. They barged in, pushing us out of the way. They quickly after ran in  my house with a gourney.  The neighbors cleared out after seeing the emergency vehicles.

I could now see what had happened. Four gun shots in her stomach. I got up and ran toward the man picking her up off of my kitchen floor. Screaming mom over and over again. But after that, all I could see was darkness.
