Two hours later, I'm standing in the kitchen with all the ingredients I need.

Eventually I found the recipe on her phone and send it to mine so I wouldn't use hers.

Let's get this.

I measured everything I need, like flour or sugar and put it in the same bowl we used the first time.

I wish you were here amore.

I can hear her laugh in my ears while making the cake. The way she smiled at me when I said something funny or when she rolled her eyes when I was annoying.

When she said in every sentence something sarcastic. The way she danced around the kitchen or when we were both drunk.

Those all memories flooded my mind like it were the only ones I had from her. But it won't happen. We will make new ones.

I hope.

I mixed all ingredients together, getting a dough together. I didn't knew I could do a cake by myself after just doing it once before.

I cleaned everything up while the dough was getting ready.

Seconds after I began cleaning, I heard a feminine voice coming from the second floor.

,,Hello.", she said and smiled at me. ,,What are you doing?", her little eyes looked around the kitchen, trying to find something that would tell her I was baking a cake.

,,I'm baking a cake. One your sister and me did before. You wanna try it after it is done, pretty girl?", I bend to her level down so we could make eye contact.

Amanda is a really sweet girl. Caring for everyone, little annoying voice but she's cute. Just like her sister. It's like she wasn't even adopted. ,,Yayyy.", she jumped around. ,,You wanna sit on the counter and watch me doing the other stuff and after that, you can decorate
the cake?", I asked her, taking the cleaning thing back into my hand.

,,Sure.", she smiled brightly at me. I lifted her onto the counter as she began looking at all the tools I used before. ,,Lucas, can I ask you a question?", Amanda mumbled but I could hear her enough.

,,Go ahead princess.", I replied, thinking what could be the question about. ,,How was she? My sister?", she fiddled with her fingers around as if she was nervous to hear the answer.

,,She wa- is the best girl I could have ever asked for. She's caring, pretty, funny, sympathetic, sarcastic and athletic. She has everything a man wants to see in a woman. She stands up for herself and doesn't let anyone down. She helps everyone and everything. A dream, Amanda. She's like an angrl sent from heaven.", I chucked to myself as I thought how cringe I must have sound as I was talking about my girl.
