Y/n's POV -

We all looked at the Master in shock. The boy, I could understand, but the fact that he was willing to keep this demon alive must mean something.

Sanemi: Forgive me, Master, but I can not agree with this. It is the Corp's mission to slay demons.

Tengen: I am also apposed to this. A demon travelling with a demon slayer is unexceptable.

Rengoku: Although I respect you with all my heart, I can not abide by this.

Mitsuri: I will do whatever it is you ask, Master.

As they all stated their feelings, I stayed silent. Part of me wanted to take the Master's side, but the other half of me was against it all. I had never felt this conflicted, and it made my heart wrench.

Tengen noticed, and looked over in my direction.

Tengen: Try to look more flashy, Y/n.

Y/n: Sure, I'll try....

I was only half listening. I knew Tengen was only trying to help, as he always was, but it was just....

Master: Y/n, what do you think?

Y/n: Well I..

I glance over at the others, but they kept looking straight ahead. I knew I was going to make some of them upset, but this is what I truly thought.

Y/n: I agree with you whole heartedly, Master. You have my support.

I could practically feel Shinozugawa's cold stare. I didn't personally care about his thoughts, but when I looked at Tengen, he smiled. Even though it was against his morals, he still supported me.

Time skip: Hashira Meeting Starts -

We all sat down in front of the Master. I was between Muchiro and Tengen.

Master: It is obvious that the level of demon slayers has dropped tremendously. What are your thoughts?

Sanemi: The incident on Mt. Natagumo says it all, -

Y/n: I think it's unfair to say that.

Everyone looked at me. I didn't mean to say it out loud, but still.

Sanemi: What does that mean?

Y/n: All I'm saying is this, if we expect low ranking demon slayer to kill a 12 kizuki easily, than I suggest lowering your standards. It took that boy, the demon girl and Giyuu to kill it.

Master: Fair point. It is my belief that Muzan is sending demons after Tanjiro. But, judging from the drastic move the demon made, I doubt that Kibutsuji is close to Mt. Natagumo.

That much was obvious. Even not being there myself, it doesn't take a genius to know that Muzan didn't order that demon to do anything. The Master talked for a little while longer, until he spoke to me.

Master: Y/n, you had told me about wanting to train younger demon slayers.

Y/n: Oh yes. I was going to ask if I could train that boy, but Shinobu beat me to it.

Master: Well, I have been looking at some of the newer slayers, and I think it's best if we have someone else train them.

This got me confused. I may have ever trained people before, but I know I could help them out.

Master: Your skills aren't suited for any of the newer recruits, and most of the older ones already have trainers. I'm sorry.

Y/n: Oh, that's ok. I'm sure someone will come along one day.

I smiled, but deep down I was sad. All i wanted to do was help, to make sure that no more lives would be lost. Not to sound cocky, but facing demons day in and day out has been getting rather boring.

The meeting ended, and everyone was going back home or elsewhere. I was walking with Tengen, on the way back to his mansion.

Tengen: You did good today.

Y/n: Thank you, I try.

We smiled at each other and continued walking. Before long, we arrived at his house and were greeted by Makio, Suma and Hinatsuru.

All: Welcome home, Lord Tengen.

Tengen: Hello girls.

We headed inside and sat around a table. I looked over at Tengen, who looked deep in thought, so I decided to talk to the girls.

Suma: What happened today?

Y/n: Oh nothing crazy. There was a boy who caused some trouble, but It was all good.

Hinatsura: What kind of trouble?

These girls are Tengen's wives. They're Kunoichi, and very skilled at that. I'm very close with all of them.

Y/n: His sister was turned into a demon, and he brought her with him, even as a demon slayer.

Suma: Really?! What else?

Y/n: I'm afraid that's all I really know.

Just than, Tengen stood from the table. We turned to him, waiting to hear what he had to say.

Tengen: Suma, Makio, Hinatsuru. I have a mission for you all.

They all waited patiently to hear the details. Tengen often kept them out of danger as much as he could, so this was surprising.

Tengen: There is said to be a demon in the Entertainment district.

Makio: A 12 kizuki?

Tengen: Most likely. I need you to join the houses and locate this demon.

The girls nodded, and started to prepare to leave. I was personally glad I wasn't on this mission. The women in these houses.. weren't really my type.

Y/n: Are you sure you are okay with this?

Tengen: Positive. I wouldn't tell them if I wasn't.

I nod, but I knew better than to take that literally. I knew that, deep down, no matter how many times he said his 1 goal was being flashy or slaying demons, I know that isn't true.

His one true goal, Is to keep his wives safe. And I should know, I am the 4th.
