Chapter 10 - Replaced

I yawned with a mouth full of toast which lead me to kind of choke. I caughed just as my sister walked in. She looked at me then just laughed.

"Only my sister " she muttered. I finally finished my choking spasm and began to get ready. Yes I have school today. I swear Monday is horribe, why cant the weekend be longer? Thats just one of the things wrong with the world.

I chucked on a sweater that says I love you in capital letters and some leggings. I heard the bus pull up and honk its horn. I run down the stairs and just before I leave I yell.

"Bye Willow" and then I go out. I hear her yell a bye faintly but it muffled by the door. I walk to the bus and get on. I smile at the driver and he just grunts. I shake my head and walk to my seat. I look out the window and see Calleb making his way over to the bus. Hes wearing some black jeans and a simple tee his usual clothing. His hair is tousled and as he walks onto the bus he tousles it even more. Ha and boys say we spend lots of time on our hair.

He walks down the bus aisle and smiles at me, I smile back.

"Hey" he says as he slips into the seat next to me. I feel a wierd feeling in my stomach as he sits down. His leg skims mine which send sparks up my legs. I try to ignore the feeling but its just so hard, what is up with me? Why am I feeling like this in the first place? I push the feelings aside and push out a,

"Hey" I smile at him once again. He smiles back until we get interupted when someone clears their throat really loud on purpose. I look up to see Alesia standing there a smirk on her face.

"Well I really like to see you two making googley eyes at each other I really need to talk to Deliah please" she said pointing the statement to Calleb. He gave her a confused look before standing up. Alesia immediately sat down next to me. Calleb looks at us then sighs.

"I think I just got replaced" he muttered.

"Yeah you did" Alesia and I say in unision. Calleb laughs shaking his head.

"Whatever" he says before sitting down next to a random person. He gives him a confused look but just turns to look out the window yet again. I turn to Alesia and smile at her. She gives me a small sad smile. My smile imediatley drops and I give her a conserned look.

"Alesia whats wrong?" I ask concerned for my best friend. She sighs and looks at her lap.

"Um my dad and mum split up and I dont know if I want to spend more time with my dad or mum, one is going to take me for weekend and one will take me for weekday" she says looking up at me. I sigh.

Alesias parents were constantly fighting, they even did it infront of me because I went over so often. Alesia knew that they would eventually end it but I could see that she was really hurt.

"Alesia I really want to help but I cant, this is your decision dont let anybody try and convince you to do anything" I say rubbing her arm comfortably. She looks up and gives me a warm smile and I return it.

"Okay but if I choose my mum um sheskindamovingawaytoanothercountry" she says in a rushed voice. I raise an eyebrow at her and she repeats it more slowly. "If I choose my mum shes moving to another country" she says sadness in her voice.

I tense. Alesia and I have been best friends forever. We always hung out and whenever we needed someone we would instantly go to each other. We were i seperatable, well at least thats what I thought.

"Hey its okay, Alesia its your choice no matter what the consequences" I say but I add on "How would you visit on weekends if they live across the country?" Alesia sighs running a hand down her face.

"Thats the thing I wouldnt, I would just visit the other one every now and then, look Deliah im really sorry but you know my dad and honestly I dont think I want to live with him, im really sorry" she says tears stinging in her eyes.

Tears sting in mine but I dont let them fall. I just hug Alesia so tightly I dont think she can breath.

"Its okay, im sure youll make lots of friends and I completely understand" I say pulling away from her. She gives me a sad smile and nods.

"Thanks Deliah, um this is kinda goodbye because my mums picking me up after first period and we dont have this class together" she says sniffling from the tears. I look out the window to see that we arrived at school. I look back at Alesia and give her a sad smile. A tear falls down Alesias cheek and I wipe it away. I soon find her wiping away a tear from my face. We hug one last time before the bus driver yells at us to get off the bus. Geez cant he see were having a moment.

"Im gonna miss you but we can still talk" I say wiping away tears.

"Ofcourse wouldnt have it any other way" she says smiling. We hug and then she adds "Youll need me when you finally realise that you like Calleb" she says standing up.

"That is so not gonna happen" I lie. Im pretty sure its gonna happen. I mean how could I not fall for him hes just ugh, but not in a bad way.

Hey,

Alesia is leaving, I know and she only starred in I think 2 chapters :(
But its okay because theres going to be so much more Delleb moments :)

Hope you enjoyed this chapter, not much happened but in the next chapter it will be all Delleb.
