Chapter 3 - Detention Sucks!

It was the end of the day and I was heading to Mrs. Walshes class. She was the meanest and oldest teacher in the school. I absolutley hated her, well who didnt. Calleb and I had gotten detention because we had to sit next to each other and then Calleb started annoying me so I hit him on the head with my pen. Ofcourse Mrs. Walshes only saw me hit him on the head so she gave me detention but then I told her the full story and she said 'Calleb you are distracting Deliah from her work' and gave him a detention too.

I reached the door and stopped infront of it. I slowly opened the door to see Mrs. Walshes sitting at her desk with Calleb who was sitting at a desk up the front of the classroom. Mrs. Walshes heard me come in and demanded "Sit now" I sighed and walked over to the desk near the window, Calleb had obviously gotten Mrs. Walshes in a bad mood.

"Now im going to the teachers lounge you too will stay here and fill out this sheet, understand"

Calleb and I nodded. She nodded and left the room. I looked at the worksheet and sighed, there were alot of lines which meant there was a lot of writing. I decided I would do it in a minute and looked out the window. I could see soccer practice going on on the oval and sighed. Today was tryouts and im missing it. Coach said I could tryout tomorrow but I was really looking forward to it.

I turned to see that Calleb was on his phone. I looked back out the window.

"You know just staring out there isnt going to help" I jumped not expecting to hear Callebs voice.

"Its your fault were in here" I murmered. He heard this and scoffed.

"My fault your the one who didnt look to see if the teacher was watching and hit me on the head with your pen" he said looking at me now.

"What do you mean looking to see if the teacher was watching" I repeated his words.

"If your gonna do something like that you gotta make sure the teacher isnt watching otherwise you'll get caught" he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Ofcourse you would know that" I murmered to myself. I said it a bit too loud and Calleb heard.

"Whats that supposed to mean?" He questioned.

"It means that you would obviously know that because you always annoy me and you would have to check if the teacher was watching everytime wouldnt you" I snap. He look in the other direction, trying to hide his facial expression. But I swear I saw guilt in his eyes. Nah he would never feel bad for me.

After a minute or two of him not answering I started on my worksheet. I glanced at Calleb one more time to see he was doing his work aswell.

I arrived home after what felt like the longest two hours of my life.

"Mum, dad, Willow?" I yelled out to see if anyone was home.

"Yeah im in the kitchen" I heard my 20 year old sister Willow called out. I walked into the kitchen to see thats she was cooking some dinner. Her dark brown hair was in a loose braid on the side of her head, loose strands fell on her face.

"Hey Willow" I said walking up to see what she was cooking, it was spagetti bolognase. "Ooh yummy" I said licking my lips. Willow laughed.

"Well too bad for you this is for Phenix and I" She said. I stood there shocked and put a hand on my heart.

"So Phenix gets this delicious food and ill just starve" I said putting my hands on my hips.

"Yeah thats about right" she said shrugging her shoulders.

"Well" I say in a dramatic tone. Willow started laughing and so did I.

"Dont worry theres some for you too, I was just messing with ya" she said pushing my shoulder gently.

"Hey never joke about food with me" I say giving her a serious look. She just laughs again and so do I. "So Phenix is coming over?"

"Yeah, we're having a date tonight" I make a disgusted face.

"Ew yuck I think im just gonna stick in my room" Phenix was Willows boyfriend and was Callebs older brothers best friend. He was really nice and funny and I could see that Willow really loved him.

"Um no because itsnotreallyadatebecausePhenixsfriendJoshiscomingaswellasCalleb" She says in a rushed sentence.

"Willow english sweety english" She sighs.

"Phenixs best friend is coming over aswell you know Callebs brother yeah so I kinda invited Calleb aswell" She says fast but I understand her. I tense up, hell to the no was that devil entering my house to eat dinner with me, nah uh.

"You know what im acually just gonna go to Alesias house tonight" I say trying to walk out of the kitchen. I fail myseribly because Willow pulls me back.

"Nah uh, you and Calleb need to learn to get along plus if you come to tonights dinner ill take you to the Taylor Swift concert with me" she says bragging me. I let out a frustrated sigh.

"Fine, but if Calleb gets too annoying im leaving" I say. Willow hold out her hand for me to shake it.

"Okay, do we have a deal?" I shake her hand " We have a deal".

A/N

Hey guys heres chapter 3, pretty short and boring but in the next chapter there will be some action. How will the dinner go down?
