Dinah didn't really understand most of the interactions between Camila and Lauren. It was pretty obvious that Lauren liked Camila and it was also pretty obvious Camila felt at least a little something back. But neither of them could see it which was annoying. Did Dinah care? No, she actually didn't see a problem with it. She had a gay cousin and she'd always been accepting of gay people. She'd just been going to Catholic schools her whole life because despite not being homophobic, she did believe in God.

Although, nowadays it felt like you couldn't have one without the other. She knew that wasn't true, but from her experiences in Christian schools, its not the most unreasonable conclusion to she could come to.

She didn't like how gay people were rarely accepted by religious communities and establishments. They were still people. Like right now, Lauren had just asked Camila if she wanted to come over after school and Camila was blushing like crazy like the adorable munchkin that she is. And did Dinah mind? No. When she looked at them, she saw her friends, not the disgusting monsters that a lot of people claimed same-sex couples are. Well, they weren't a couple, but it couldn't be too long before they were, like just looking at them it was obvious.

Not obvious enough for  either of them apparently. Dinah rolled her eyes at the thought and somehow Lauren noticed.

"Oh, I'm sorry Dinah. You can come over too if you want. We still haven't hung out much. I'll ask Zayn if he wants to tag along."

Dinah didn't mean to make the green-eyed girl feel bad for not inviting her. She really didn't mind all that much, but if she hung out with them, maybe she could help move along this love train. Or, well, not love...yet. Dinah needed to give them a name that she could use for her little mission.

"Um, okay, yeah sure. I'll come along. Aren't you grounded though?" Dinah asked, sure that Camila had told her about this yesterday.

"Yeah, but my parents are never really home. My dad's always busy with work and my mom is just...quite the socialite. No one will be there except for my maid who's pretty chill about it, so don't worry. I do this with Zayn all the time." Lauren explained. Dinah could see she was holding a few things back, but she didn't need to know anything more than that.

"Okay, that's fine. Can you help me with my Biology homework? I don't have that class with you guys and I seriously don't understand a thing."

But Lauren was no longer paying attention. Camila was getting stuff from her locker and Lauren was pretty busy staring at her. Dinah knew Camila wasn't very good at multitasking so she probably wasn't paying attention to their conversation.

"Earth to Lauren!" she said waving a hand in front of the older girl's face. "I know she's hot, but c'mon. I need to pass Bio here."

That definitely got Lauren's attention. She looked like a deer caught in the headlights and like Dinah had expected, Camila was too focused on whatever it was that was so deeply buried in her locker to notice.

"Uh, yeah, homework. Sure, we can do that." Lauren stuttered out.

God, Dinah didn't understand how Camila hadn't realized by now.

"Hey, guys, can we go off campus for lunch? I really don't want to go through sitting in that cafeteria again. You aren't on probation too are you?" Camila asked, aiming the last question at Lauren.

The older girl readjusted her bag, the action seeming to flip her "keep it cool" switch back on. Dinah almost laughed out loud at the difference between the girl she saw now and the girl from a few seconds ago who looked like she'd been caught sneaking cookies out of the cookie jar.

"Probation for kicking a guy in the balls? No, I think you'd have to set one of the classrooms on fire or something to get that. Its not even that common in other schools which is why they rarely use it. They give out suspensions and detentions like candy though."
