She-Ra: Trials Of Beast Island

The Plan

 Beast Island. Most unfortunate souls who went there had never returned. The team wasn't sure what they'd be getting themselves into. While the only ones who hadn't been there were Catra and Glimmer, that didn't change the fact that they were walking into unexplored territory. If something was pulling Micah back to that treacherous place, who knows what it could be. Was it a monster, or an unknown entity? The only way for them to find out was for them to go and find out for themselves. 

Glimmer didn't want to say anything, but she didn't feel safe with this mission. Not just because it's Beast Island, but what if she loses her father to whatever this is? She didn't want to admit it, but she wasn't ready for this. She just wanted everything to be normal and safe, but what does normal mean for Etheria? 

"Hey Sparkles," Catra said teasingly 

"Oh, hey Horde Scum, what's up?"

"How are you holding up? I'm sure this might be a lot for you, and I just wanted to see how you were doing. I'm sure it's overwhelming, but we've all got your back with whatever you're feeling right now" She put a hand on Glimmer's shoulder.

"Thanks. It's just a lot with my dad being back and then leaving again just as soon as he got back. I just don't really know what to think. I can't lose him again Catra"

"Glimmer, listen to me. We are going to do everything that we can to ensure that nothing bad happens to your father. Trust me, I know what it's like to lose a parental figure, and it isn't easy. But we've got some of the best and smartest people on our team, so I have faith that we can get through whatever this might be"

"I just don't want to risk it. I'm scared" 

"I know, but you've got all of us to lean on if you need anything at all"

"Thanks, it means a lot to hear you say that. Yknow if anybody had told me that a few years ago I'd be friends with you of all people, I'd tell them they're crazy and just leave. But I really value our friendship"

"Me too Sparkles, me too. Now let's head to the meeting" Catra made Glimmer's tiara crooked just to mess with her as they left.

In the meeting room, everybody gathered around the table. Entrapta, Micah, Glimmer, Bow, Catra, and Adora. They needed to come up with an effective plan, and also tried to come up with what could possibly be pulling Micah back to the island. Given the recent events of the last 3 years on Etheria, hardly anything surprised them anymore. They weren't scared of new things, but more of whatever trouble could be brought with it.

"First off, we need to come up with a way of getting to and from the island" Micah started.

"We could recruit Sea Hawk to take us there and wait for us on his boat" Adora replied confidently. 

"Entrapta will be in charge of any gear we may need along the way. She knows the island better than anybody. With that being said, Entrapta, what do you need from us?" Bow added.

"I will need some time to put together geothermal suits for everyone going along. One thing to know about Beast Island is the constant change in the climate. It can go from sub-zero temperatures to boiling humidity within hours. These suits will help to regulate our body temperature and keep us safe. I will also need somebody to help with my equipment as we make it through the island" Entrapta stated. 

"Okay, but how are we supposed to find whatever it is we're looking for?" Adora asked.

"We'll know" Micah replied with a blank expression on his face.

They all looked around at each other. None of them knew what they were getting themselves into. This meeting had only just started, and yet there was still so much left to talk about. What would their method of defense be? What is on that island?
