-Evren Black-

And yet once again, I fell asleep in his arms.

My head was on his chest and I was still half naked, only my shorts and bra on.

"Evren! Get up kiddo, I'm leaving!" My dad yelled from the other side of the door.

Heavy footsteps coming up the stairs.

I groaned as the sun hit my face. Aster tightened his arm around me.

Aster-

I sat up abruptly, waking him up too.

I moved my hair back as I heard a knock at my door, "Ev?"

"Hide." I whispered.

He looked at me confused. He opened his mouth to talk but I stopped him with a hand.

"He can't see you here. You need to hide." I whisper. I look around, "Closet, now." I push him up.

"Uh, just a second dad." I yell out.

Aster wasn't wearing a shirt either, but thank god his pants were on.

He moved to the closet and closed the shutter.

I got up and went to the door quickly. I opened it a crack, seeing my dad on the other side. He was carrying his blazer in his arm.

"Oh thank god you're awake," he breathes, "I need help with my tie." He says.

I smile and pull the door open some more. He stepped in after I moved aside, going straight for the big mirror against my wall.

I started doing his tie.

"Dad you should really start learning how to do this on your own." I smile.

"I've tried but even the damn YouTube video didn't make sense." He said.

I laughed lightly and smoothed out his collar.

"Mom would be disappointed." I smile up at him.

He laughs, "I think your mother would also find it hilarious."

"And then she'd watch you try to use the video for the hundredth time before finally helping you." I tap his cheek.

He slid his blazer on as I walked away for a second.

"What's on the calendar today?" I ask.

He sighs, "Long meeting with Grand Central trade. Then a light lunch, Ethan and I have a meeting for our next trade deal and event." He explained as he fixed himself in the mirror, "Oh, I meant to tell you, he and his son are coming out with us for dinner tonight. What's the kids name again—it's right at the tip of my tongue... Angus?"

I laugh, "Aster. His name is Aster."

"Yeah, you two go to school together right?"

I nod.

He wiggled his eyebrows.

"Wha- why are you looking at me like that? You know what, I know exactly why, that's it, leave." I point at the door, a wide smile spread on his face.

"Oh come on, he's a nice kid." He argues.

"Yeah sure. Angus is pretty nice." I joke.

He hums a laugh and walked over to me, placing a kiss on my head.

"Clean your room today, and the living room. I'll do the kitchen when I get home." He states. I nod and walk him to my bedroom door.

"Be ready by 6, I'll be home by 5:45. Depending on traffic, maybe a little later." He shrugs." I nod again.
