Darkness is a game of chance
A danger filled dance
Never avoidable
Noises all too audible
It doesn’t just surround
It bounds
And lives inside of us
That we refuse to discuss
Neither to acknowledge
Fear that graduates college
It’s a carnivore you see
Won’t register your plea
Never really does
Will set your mind abuzz
Annoying right?
But it bites
Can you feel it?
The hard hit
Every time you observe
It hits a nerve
People have been driven mad
In anger it’s clad
Beware my dear
Not only to little children does it draw near
You are a target
It speaks in argot
I sympathize for those that know
This underlying foe
There’s no escape my child
For as it smiled
The mind goes wild
Darkness is a game of chance
With a cold romance
Kisses to the trance
And a last fleeting glance.

My Book Of Poems
PoetryThese are simply poems or thoughts I have. I have no idea why you'd want to read this, but if you do, don't if anything in here can cause a relapse or trigger. Most are depressing and some very short. Beware if you decide to read.
