MAY 4

The Quinjet landed outside the large Barton farmhouse. I smiled a little knowing what awaited inside as we all stepped off the jet. "Nice safehouse." I told Clint, trying hard to hide the small note of excitement. The others would figure out what was happening as soon as we stepped foot inside, but for now I won't ruin the whole little surprise.

"What is this place?" My brother asked as we walked, he kept an arm around me protectively and any other day I'd fight him on it but not today.

"A safe house?" Tony questioned as we walked up the porch.

"Let's hope," Clint said. I think we'll be okay. "Honey, I'm home." Clint called out when we entered. I saw Thor and the others frown.

Barton's heavily pregnant wife, Laura, walks in from the kitchen. By the all-father, she looks so much bigger than the last time I saw her. Which was about a month ago for the baby shower. I bought that sweet unborn child enough clothes to last her the entire first six months. What can I say, I love spoiling little children. Even ones who haven't been born yet.

"Hi. Company." Clint greeted his wife. "Sorry I didn't call ahead." Clint lets go of Natasha; not before I take his place next to her. Something told me she didn't want to be alone right now.

"This is an agent of some kind." Tony said trying to find some reason for being here before Clint and Laura kissed. That is some agent then.

"Yeah, no they're married. Look at the ring on her finger." Veronica pointed and Tony, who spotted it nodded.

Clint turned around, introducing her to the rest of the team. "Gentleman, lady, this is Laura." There's a reason why he said Gentleman and Lady instead of ladies. The boys and Veronica will soon learn why.

"I know all your names." Laura said with a small laugh and the men all looked at her awkwardly. She then pointed at Veronica, "Except you."

"This is Veronica," Tony introduced and Veronica gave her a wave. "She's new."

"Ooh, incoming." Clint says as heavy footsteps rush on down. Clint's son Cooper and daughter Lila run in with a pair of smiles and open arms. "Dad!" Lila yelled as Clint picked her up.

"I see her!" He wrapped an arm around Cooper and kissed the top of his son's head. "Hey, buddy! How are you guys doing?"

The men all looked in utter surprise and shock to the fact that Clint has a whole family he kept secret. I snicker, the looks on their faces were absolutely hilarious. I hope I didn't look like that when I first met them. No, I think I was probably worse.
