Fangs Part 7

You run to the nearest source of light you can find. There! The exit. You walk out...

Back to the arena. Did he lead you all the way back here? Why? You glance around to find him.

"GOOD JoB cHAsiNG ME alL tHe Waay HErE!" His voice echoes.

You look behind, upon the bleachers.

"I ShoULd gIvE you a TReAT fOR beINg A goOd SpoRt..." He whips around his tail and throws a chunk of stone at you. You dodge it.

"TOo ChuNKy Ey? WHat ABouT thIs!" He pulls out a hose and shoots the water at you. You raise your hand and manipulate them to bounce back at him. He jumps before the water could hit him.

"So you do live here." You assume.

"YOu dOn't sEE a BED Do yOU?" He lands in front of you and strikes a punch, you dodge it.

"Or A KItchEn'' he is starting to revolve around you, striking hits, "or A doOR", but his punches come at a normal rate, "OR eveN WinDOws!", You're quick enough to dodge each one of them. He spins and swings his tail. You jump back to dodge it.

Those attacks seemed... phony. Was he intending to hit me or--

He jumps in and swings his tail but you dodge him once more. It ended up hitting the ground, actually leaving an impact on the hard dirt.

Okay, that was intentional. You thought.

"So hOW is tHe PUpPY DoiNg? Is SHe OkAy?" He sweeps the dirt at you with his tail. You cover your face as the dust surrounds you. You cough.

"Why do you *cough* care? *cough*" You try to fan the dust away but his tail hits you from the right, throwing you out of the dust cloud and to the ground. You immediately get up and prepare your stance.

"I'm ConcErneD about How the pUPPY is DoiNg too~~" he appears behind you "I'm not HeaRTleSs..." he greets you with his hands raised in a creepy, weird way, like he was attempting to scare you or something. It did a little. You flare up your fist and swing it at him only for him to vanish again.

"YOu knOw..." He appears behind you and you swing again but disappears "i'm a LiTTle BorEd..." You both did the same routine again but still not hitting him. Once your fist reaches a full swing, something pulls it behind you, tossing you around, back first to the ground. You scream in pain as the impact jolts up to your injury. You roll to your side while stretching your arms to reach it. "Why doN't we TalK aboUt Bon bOn aGain." He peers down in front of you.

You grind your teeth. You reach into every liquid in the ground and spawn a geyser below him, launching him in the sky and landing in the distance. You stand back up. In full seriousness. Your eyes are now in white, glowing in pink as the flares in your hair stand higher. "Leave her out of this."

"In fact, leave everyone out of this! It's just you and me!" You dash and run straight at him. As he stands you strike in a fist and hit him in the cheek, once more in his face and then his arm, torso, you continue to punch like a machine gun. Not for a second letting him move. The trails of your flares going back and forth. And with one last stretch back you grip his etched face and release an Impact Burst at him. You can hear his shrieks of pain as you let his face burn.

You stop and throw him to the ground. You move back a little, catching your breath. He struggles to get up, trying to lift his head. "Don'T you KnoW whAt you'Ve DONE?!" He shrieks, clutching his face.

You recall your mother's words: His mask can read through anyone's deepest fears. You haven't seen what it looks like yet but you're a hundred percent certain his face is not his.
