You make me... speechless

[Starting line]

[Juliet's POV]

"Ugh! Why am I getting attracted to you?! Did you put a curse on me or something?!? Do--are you being nice on purpose? Or am I getting crazy? Y-You're making me crazy!"

It's bright in the morning. The light of the sun passes through your windows, missing your head but luminating the once dark room. You hear your alarm playing in a loud volume, it's a piano cover of a song that you like that's really upbeat. You assume a more energetic song can wake you up more easily. You reach your hand around the table beside your bed, finding your phone to turn off the alarm. You pick it up and face it in front of you. You can only see a blurry image of it but you already know the routine by now. You swipe up and the music stops.

You get up. Rubbing your eyes. You don't feel like waking up this early but...wait why did you wake up early again? You feel like it's something important. You pick up and wear your glasses. You check your phone. That feeling was correct. You and Aires planned to go out today. N-not go out like a date, but since you've met her, you two always went out and walked around the city. You didn't question why she always wants to hang out with you but you kept it as a chance to know the place more.

This is a bit different than usual. She plans to take you to a tower to go sightseeing, and other places to pass by too. Aires seems to know more of the city than you thought. Or maybe she just searched it on the web. You never really question why she does this, especially you of all people. What about her friends? Does she only want to hang out with only you or maybe because she's your teammate in a guild?

It makes you remember that time again. That moment she protected you. She always protected you but this one stuck to you the most.

"Juliet is the most precious person I care about and I won't let anything happen to her!" Her words echo back to your head.

P-Precious?

It makes your cheeks all red again. Your chest gets filled by this fluffy, overwhelming feeling. You grip your blanket tightly.

You shake it off. Moving your head from left to right and catching it steady.

Why... Is it affecting me so much? Dad called me that before, why is it different? More...d-different? You thought. Does she--

You shake off all those thoughts away and get out of bed. You only got an hour to get ready, you can't be thinking about these now. You might as well take a shower immediately. You say to yourself. You open up your closet and pick an outfit to wear. You don't really feel that creative today so you just picked a cute lime pastel shirt and some white shorts. You fix your hair and tend to your other self care products like lotion, perfume, the things you use to look and feel presentable. You think a little accessory would be nice so you just wear one of the beaded bracelets you made. A yellow and white patterned bracelet with a daisy made of beads in the middle of it. You lastly grab a small sling bag for your phone and go downstairs for some breakfast. You come to the shoe rack, pairing your outfit nicely with some white sport shoes.

You eat the breakfast your dad has made for you. Eating strawberry oatmeal while waiting for Aires to come.

*Bzzt* your phone vibrates. You flip it.

She's here.

You come and open the door to see Aires towering over you.

"Hey Juliet!" She says with a grin and a wave of hello.
