Chapter 64

Colby's POV

After Y/n left me and Ashley went up to my room and sat on my bed.

Ashley: "I didn't know she was gonna be here. Does she come over a lot?"

Colby: "uh I don't know. I'm usually out of the house so probably"

Ashley: "well I'm glad I could finally meet her. She seems nice and she's really pretty too"

Colby: "yea she is nice and pretty" I look down and smile a bit

Ashley: "why'd y'all break up?"

Colby: "well when they had a DNA test on the baby, the doctor said it matched with someone named James Kingston so I thought she cheated on me but turns out that they just got the DNA results mixed up with someone else's"

Ashley: "then why didn't you get back with her"

Colby: "well I just found out earlier today. She never told me and never was so Sam told me himself. She said it wouldn't change anything since I'm with u" I close my eyes and sigh. I turn my head and look at her as she puts her hand on my shoulder

Ashley: "you still love her, don't you?" I close my eyes and nod then open them to look at her again "then what're you doing being stuck with me. You gotta get her back"

Colby: "but- what about you?"

Ashley: "don't worry about me Colby. You guys love each other and it's quite obvious. She may look at you with hate but you can still see the love she has for you in her eyes"

Colby: "r-really?"

Ashley: "yes really. now let's come up with a plan to get her back ok?" I smile and nod as I hug her.

Colby: "thank you so much Ashley. I'm sorry"

Ashley: "it's ok. I don't mind as long as you're happy" I pull away from the hug and look at her, smiling

Colby: "ok so what's the plan"

Y/n's POV

I go back home and put Rose and Aiden in their cribs. I lay on the couch in the living room and turn on the tv. I put on a movie and watch it as I start falling asleep again. As I'm dozing off, I hear my phone go off and I get a text from an unknown number. I open my messages and look at the text.

Texting POV                                                                                                                                                                                -----------------

Unknown: Hey Y/n! 

Unknown: It's me Ashley. I just got your number from Colby

Y/n: oh hey Ashley! I got scared for a minute

Ashley: oh I'm so sorry. I should've asked if it was ok with u first

Y/n: no it's fine. just that usually when I get a text from an unknown number it's a bad thing. I'm glad it's just u tho

Ashley: I promise I'm not gonna do anything bad to u lol. I was just wondering if u wanted to hangout some time this week

Y/n: yea I'd love to. I'll ask someone to babysit the little rascals for me and we'll hangout 

Ashley: alr when do u wanna do it

Y/n: doesn't rlly matter. it's all up to u

Ashley: alr how about the day after tmr? at 5?

Y/n: ok sounds perfect. see you then

Ashley: ok see ya then. byee

Y/n: byee

You smile a bit then continue watching the movie and fall asleep after a short while. 

~A Few Hours Later~

You wake up to the sound of breaking glass. Thinking that the babies woke up and broke something, you quickly get up and run to the nursery to find them still sleeping peacefully. You get even more scared and wander around the house trying to figure out where the sound came from. As you're about to go in your room, you see the door open and one of the windows broken. You quickly run back to the nursery, closing and locking the door behind you as you grab your phone and call the one person you didn't wanna talk to but knew was most likely the only person who could help you right now...
