Y/n: I loved you so much. I would never cheat on you. It's crazy that you actually thought I cheated on you. Was I that bad of a girlfriend?

Colby: no of course not, I just thought I lost you when I heard the results!

He raises his voice, waking Rose as she cries.

Y/n: now would you excuse me I have OUR daughter to take care of, since you're too busy with your little girlfriend, in order to help.

I knew I couldn't drive home with her crying the whole time cause it would just stress me out so I go downstairs to their living room area, sitting down on the couch. I put the car seat down and take her out of it and hold her in my arms as I lay my head back with my eyes closed and rock her. After awhile, she finally falls asleep. I forget I'm not home and end up falling asleep with her.

Colby's POV

After "talking" with Y/n, me and Sam kept talking for a bit then I went downstairs heading to the kitchen. I look to my right and see Y/n sleeping with Rose and Aiden. I believe that's what Sam told me their names were. They look so beautiful. I'm so stupid for thinking she really cheated on me and now instead of being there and helping her with Rose and Aiden, I'm always hanging out with my new girlfriend, Ashley. I love Ashley but not as much as I loved Y/n... Well LOVE. I'll always love Y/n. She's so special. She means the world to me. As I'm lost in my thoughts I hear footsteps behind me.

Corey: "hey, are you good bro?"

I snap out of my thoughts and look at him.

Colby: "uh yea. I'm fine sorry I was just thinking"

Corey: "thinking about what"

We continue our conversation as we walk into the kitchen.

Colby: "how stupid I am for thinking Y/n cheated on me"

Corey: "sorry bro but I agree with you on that one"

Colby: "I know, probably all of y'all do"

Corey: "yea I think so"

Colby: *sighs* "I wish I could turn back time. Do it all over again without making that stupid mistake."

Corey: "if only you could but it's a good thing you can't cause then you never would've learned from your mistake"

Colby: "yea, that's true but why'd it have to be from Y/n. Why'd I have to break HER heart"

Corey: "cause she means to the most to you so she would help you learn your lesson the best"

Colby: "ok where's all this intelligence and wise sayings coming from"

We both chuckle lightly, careful not to wake up Y/n and the babies.

Corey: "I don't know man it's just popping up in my head"

Colby: "well I'm glad cause I really needed to hear those wise weirds from wise Corey"

I chuckle a bit

Corey: "you're welcome. I'm always here for you bro"

Colby: "thanks man"

Corey: "anytime"

We exchange smiles and he leaves the kitchen. I get a glass of water and drink it. I hear a knock at the door and someone walks in. I go to the door to see Ashley and she walks over to me.

Ashley: "hey baby"

Colby: "hey babe, what're you doing here?"

She hugs me as I hug back.

Ashley: "I was bored and I decided to come see my boyfriend. Is that a problem?"

Colby: "oh no not at all it's just that you usually call or text before you come"

Ashley: "I know, I'm so sorry. I forgot"

Colby: "it's fine"

Ashley: "ok well let's go to your room"

She smiles and as she turns around she sees Y/n and Rose sleeping on the couch.

Ashely: "awe those are cute babies. They kinda look like you."

Colby: "yeah well that doesn't matter let's go"

Ashley: "Wait, who's that?"

Colby: "it's nobody"

Ashley: "Colbs, why won't you tell me"

Colby: "cause it's nothing important"

I hear shuffling around and look to see Y/n awake.

Y/n: "well it's nice to know that we're not important to you. We'll just go so we can be out of your way. I'm sure you'd love that"

Colby: "no Y/n that's not what I meant"

Y/n: "yes it is, it's what you said so we'll go"

Ashley: "well this is kinda awkward but uh hi I'm Ashley, Colby's girlfriend"

Y/n looks at her as she holds her hand out for her to shake.

Y/n: "I'm Nachelle... Colby's Ex"

Y/n shakes her hand which I did not think would happen.

Ashley: "oh you're the one he talks about. I'm so sorry I didn't know. Your babes are so cute though"

Y/n: "thanks I've been raising them on my own with the help of a few friends"

Ashley: "that must be so difficult taking care of a baby on your own"

Y/n: "yea it really is but you get used to it eventually"

I feel Y/n glare at me as I look down.

Y/n: "anyways. imma go. it was nice meeting you Ashley. Hope we can hangout one day"

Ashley: "yea me too. see you later"

Ashley smiles and waves at Y/n as she puts the babies in their car seats and leaves
