Chapter 65

You grab your phone and quickly call Colby. After the third ring, he picks up and try to be quiet as you whisper to him.

Y/n: Colby

Colby: hey y/n, what's up

Y/n: Colby I need your help

Colby: with what? is everything ok?

Y/n: no. someone just broke into my house. I'm in the nursery with the babies and I don't know where the person is

Colby: ok y/n don't worry I'm coming just stay quiet and if u can, try to get out of there with Rose and Aiden. I'm on my way

Y/n: ok. please hurry

Colby: I'll be quick just stay calm ok

Y/n: ok. thank you Colby

Colby: ofc

He hangs up and you look around to see if there's anyway to get Rose and Aiden out the window without them getting hurt considering you're on the second floor.  You put Rose and Aiden in their car seats and get ready to head downstairs. You open the door and peek your head out to see if the person is near. You see and shadow pass by one of the doors at the end of the hallway and decide to just make a run for it. You grab their things and run downstairs with Rose and Aiden. You open the front door and go to your car and put them inside and buckle them up. You then close and lock the doors and start heading to the drivers side when someone pulls you back against them and wraps their arm around you, across your chest and holds a knife to your throat.

???: "Don't move and don't scream or else you're dead" 

You slowly nod a little as you start crying and tears roll down your cheek. The person continues to keep you in that hold as they take you inside and up to your room. They put you on the bed then walk away to grab something. As they walk away your phone starts ringing and you look down and reach for it. As you take it out and are about to answer, you look back up and the person is standing right in front of you and hits you on the head, knocking you out.

Colby's POV

Y/n called me telling me someone had broke into her house so I immediately left and drove to her place after asking Sam for her address. Ashley wanted to come with me as her and Y/n are now friends.. I think. Anyways, as I'm down the street from her house, I take out my phone and call her. I let it ring until it went to voicemail which made me worried. I panicked and started thinking of what could have possibly happened to her. I step on the gas and drive faster, pulling into her driveway. I see that one of her car doors were left open so I get out of my car and go to hers. I look inside to see Rose and Aiden in the back, sleeping.

Colby: "Ashley"

Ashley: "yea?"

Colby: "come and stay here with Rose and Aiden while I head inside and see what's going on"

Ashley: "what?! no I'm coming with you"

Colby: "no you're not. You're staying here. pls Ashley. I don't want you to get hurt. ok?"

She looks at me and just nods.

Colby: "thank you. I'll be back with y/n"

I kiss her head before running inside, closing the front door behind me. I check all over the house to see where they are and go to the bedroom down the hall of the second floor and see y/n tied to a chair and a man standing in front of her. I quietly sneak up behind him but he turns around and sees me and is quick to attack. He cuts my arm with his knife as I take out my pocket knife and start swinging it at him too. We leave multiple cuts on each other before I knock the knife out of his hand and stab his leg then his stomach. I hit him on the head and knock him out then I go to y/n and cut the ropes. I tie the man up and call the police to let them know what happened and tell them hat I tied the man up to the chair in the upstairs room then I go downstairs and put y/n in the passenger seat of her car. 

Colby: "Ashley, drive my car back to the house"

Ashley: "ok" she says as she gets out the car and starts heading to mine. She looks at me and sees all the cuts I have on my arms and cheek

Ashley: "OMG Colby! are you ok?!"

Colby: "yea I'm fine let's just go. quick"

She nods and gets in my car as I get in y/n's car and we drive back to the traphouse.
