~A/N-- I'm switching POV for a bit. That is all, Enjoy~

John ended the mini tour with the daycare and sent you on your way. You kept looking back at the giant doors, wondering what was waiting for you inside those doors, and it made you excited. Sure, it wasn't the best of jobs, dealing with kids and being a janitor for the animatronics but it was a start, and John had mentioned putting your skills to use. With that said and done, you went home and decided against telling your parents about the job just yet to avoid another "talk" about how little money you would be making working there and not being in college.

You started unpacking some of your art supplies when you got home, wanting to take them to the daycare and get a head-start getting your artistic abilities recognized and used there. By the time you were done, you had a duffel bag with your art tools ready to go by the door, and were pooped from the excitement of the day, so to bed you went.

--
The next day, you woke up and got yourself ready for the day: A quick shower, teeth brushing and hair brushing, a small breakfast and some coffee intake. Your parents would soon be waking up, and you decided you didn't want to deal with them and explain what you were doing today, so you went to grab your duffel bag and left before they even stepped into the kitchen to bid you goodbye.

The drive took less than an hour, with you speeding down the highway. You wanted a sneak peak into the daycare so you could plant the bag before anything told you that you couldn't, and so you wouldn't be overwhelmed with new information Infront of your new coworkers.
You ended up passing by the same security guard that had been there the day before and you smiled at them.

They looked at you with a brow raised and raised his wrist to his lips, before speaking into it.
"The new hire is here, I'm sending them in."

You smiled at him and extended your hand to them, "My name's Y/N by the way.. good to meet a coworker so early on."

They shook your hand with a stoic expression and a "same" comment before nodding towards the entrance.

The pizzaplex was a whole different world when there was no one inside it. It was so quiet, there wasn't even music playing in the speakers, giving the place a bit of a spooky abandoned-but-well-kept-amusement park vibes. The lights seemed to be dimmed in comparison to how bright they were the day before, and the only moving things in the building seemed to be some security bots with flashlights.

You didn't make it too far into the lobby of the place when you heard your name called out behind you.

"Hey! Y/N, This is such a pleasant surprise, seeing you here so early on your first day. The early bird gets the worm right?"

John came up behind you carrying a bag from one of the stores, which he handed to you the moment he was close enough. He took your hand and shook it quickly before opening the bag and showing you the contents.

"Since you're here, you can get yourself acquainted with the place before your training starts, and lucky for you, I had all of your things ordered and delivered last night. Here's your uniform, I gave you two versions, you can pick which to wear on your shifts and only on shift please. Here is your badge, and your very own fazwatch. You need to keep this on at all time, and there's a charging station in the daycare for it at the end of your shift if it needs it. "

John rambled on pointing to everything in the bag and giving you little explanations on what they were for, which you appreciated but could have figured out on your own. You put on the fazwatch, chuckling at how silly it looked- like something a kid would wear- and pressed the buttons to see what each of them did. After, you got the badge and put it around your neck.

Upon close inspection of the badge, you saw that the picture was a headshot from the day before shot from a weird high angle. It didn't look bad, but you couldn't remember when you gave your permission to get a picture taken.

John noticed you staring at the badge and put the pieces together, feeling the need to explain the situation:
"If you want a new picture on record, just have one of the animatronics take your picture and upload it to your file- from there I can approve it, but you look nice in that one, that's why I chose it."

You looked at John when he spoke and smiled, nodding your head. 'Fair enough' you thought.

"Okay, you go to the daycare and I will go meet you before your shift starts. I already scanned you into the Plex but before your shift you will need to actually clock in, and I'll show you how to do that when the time comes. Duty calls, so holler if you need anything."

The man was very to the point when he wanted to be, and you could respect that from a boss. You sighed and walked the path that you needed to take to the daycare, and stopped at the double doors. You knocked on it and waited a few minutes. There was no sound coming from inside or outside, and the doors seemed to be locked, so you would have to look for another way into it. You remembered John had mentioned another unconventional entrance that employees would take sometimes, and walked around until you found the tunnel slide that would land you right inside the daycare.

Before even thinking of stepping into the slide, you looked down at the daycare through the glass window that separated it from the rest of the pizzaplex.

It was huge for a daycare. You thought about how you would have loved to have a daycare with everything that this one had, back when you were a kid. It was literally a kidspalooza. A "river" ballpit, a Rapunzel tower, something that looked like a jungle gym/ playstructure, a cozy corner far in the corner, and other areas that you couldn't see too well from up there.

"Well, here goes nothing.. but just in case.." you said outloud, and tossed your duffel bag down first, hearing it land into the ballpit. You sat and slid your way in, a laugh coming out of you when you finally landed in the ball pit on top of your bag.

"Aw shit.. where'd it go" you said, having to dive in to find your bag.

"Language!"

You froze, hidden under some balls. You thought there was no one in there, and couldn't help but feel like you would be in trouble if you were found. You stayed still, and hearing nothing else, popped your head out of the balls to look around... just to be picked up by your shirt and suspended in midair.
