The moment your hands could no longer touch the plastic balls, you started to panic. You hadnt expected anyone to be inside the daycare at that time, and much less for someone to straight up grab and pull your whole body and self out of the ballpit. It all happened so quickly, so there was not a lot of time to process what had happened. Anxious energy filled your body- heat building in your belly and climbing up your chest and neck, just to settle on your cheeks. You had your eyes shut closed, and could feel your throat closing on you, letting in less and less air as you started to hyperventilate from the panic.

Your feet werent touching the ground, you were still suspended in the air, a good 4 feet off the ground, with your hands gripping the only thing that was close to you- metal. You dug your nails into that metal, holding on for dear life, not realizing that your body wasnt in danger of falling.

"Oh dear are you alright? Shh shh, relax, come on, take some breaths with me, like this."

A voice spoke in the background, sounding far away and muffled.

"Shh, shh friend, its alright, its okay"

The voice spoke again, a little louder and clearer now. You had unconsciously started to match breathing sounds with the voice, and were beginning to calm down enough to catch your breath without feeling like you were about to pass out. Your feet touched the ground, but your body didnt stop there. Your legs felt like jello, and you fell to your knees. The pain from impact shocked your brain out of the fight-or-flight mode, and caused you to let out a hiss from the pain.

"Oh, oh no, here let me see that"

There it was again, the voice that you thought was just a hallucination caused by the panic attack. It sounded concerned, it had a sort of robotic quality to it. Once you heard it, you opened your eyes, and could hear the sound of bells dinging in step with footsteps. You took a good long breath in through your nose and out your mouth like you were taught to do when you were younger, and blinked a couple of times so that your eyes could adjust after being forced close so hard.

When your vision cleared up, you were blinded by the bright lights of the daycare, and could see no one around. As you tried to get up to call out to whoever was just there with you, your knee shot an arrow of pain around your knee.

A hiss of pain and a groan later, you managed to get yourself standing again, using the wall barrier that surrounded the ball pit as support.

You were about to start walking to the security desk to find yourself an ice pack for your knee, when you heard the jingles from bells again, but behind you.

You turned around to look, just to be witness to a tall ass animatronic coming down from the rapunzel tower, falling right towards you. Out of reflex, you put your hands out in front of your face, and tensed for the impact that was surely going to be the end of you.

Thump-Jingle Jingle

You heard the sound, but felt nothing hit you, so you peeked through your fingers, and stared at yellow. You were confused, and then a pair of warm hands moved yours away from your face and pushed you lightly to the ground in a sitting position.

Oh no no, none of that, youre injured, you need to be sitting and resting friend! Here

You needed to shake your head rather dramatically before you remembered where you were and logic finally made an appearance in your mind again, and about time it did too (you were scared that you had stepped into a psychosis episode and were imagining things now too).

In front of you and kneeling down next to you was a yellow animatronic with a sun as a face and a worried expression on it. It had a painted smile on it, but it seemed to be able to move the mouth similarly to a person just enough to see the difference in emotion, and its eyes were white all the way but you could see a darker shade of white in the middle, imitating a pupil.
