6/ Rescue mission

It turned night by the time Evelyn, Steve and Peggy are in the sky, sitting in plane with Stark being the pilot. 

Steve stopped long ago convincing his best friend to stay with the other two, realizing those failed attempts were for nothing. He tends to forget how stubborn Evelyn can really be. At the other hand, he can't blame her for coming along. 

"The Hydra camp is in Krausberg, tucked between these two mountain ranges. It's a factory of some kind." Informed the two Peggy, showing them supposed Hydra base on the mini map. 

"So we must search the whole building until we find them. Yuchu." Sigh leaves the vampire, annoyed with the fact they need to go through the whole building until they find Bucky, and the other soldiers. Hopefully they find them fast.

"We should be able to drop you right on the doorstep." Yelled at them Stark from the front.

"Just get us as close as you can. You know, you are gonna be in a lot of trouble at the lab." Steve gave response, mimicking rising his voice to be heard over the noise. 

"And you and Evelyn won't?" Peggy shoot back, reminding him the two best friends are the main ones doing this without permission and since Peggy and Howard are helping transporting them, they are in as much trouble as the two. 

"Where we're going, if anybody yells at me I can just shoot him. Evy is much worse." Evelyn gave the blonde a warning side eye. I mean, it's true, but they don't need to know that.

"They will undoubtedly shoot back." The Agent went back again at Steve, and Evelyn can't help but smile secretly to herself. Yeah, she already figured out Peggy grew interest in Steve.

"Well, let's hope it's good for something." Steve gestured to his shield, patting it. 

"Agent Carter, if we're not in too much of a hurry I thought we could stop off in Lucerne for a Late-night fondue. I would offer you Agent Salvatore to join us, but then I remembered you're quite busy." Howard called from the front, causing a scoff come out of Evelyn, followed with shake of head. 

"Stark is the best civilian pilot I've ever seen. He's mad enough to brave this airspace. We're lucky to have him." Waking from the awkward moment, Peggy covered her need to roll her eyes by positive words about the unstoppable flirt. 

"So are you two-?" Steve tried to find right words and Peggy copy Evelyn with raised eyebrow at him. "do you...-fondue?"

"This is your transponder. Activate it when you're ready and the signal will lead us straight to you." Ignoring his question, Peggy handed them two transponders, each having one.

"Hey, Stark! You sure these things works?" Firstly Evelyn scanned the thing in her hand before yelling at the dark haired pilot. 

"You doubt my work, Salvatore? You hurt my feeling." Howard faked hurt and Evelyn smirk. 

"Good." All of sudden, there's heard shooting, letting them know they have been spotted and so the two stood up, opening the door to jump with their parachutes already on.

"Get back here! We'll take you all the way in!" The Agent protested, following after the two while keeping her distance from the door. 

"As soon as we're free, you turn this thing around and get the hell outta here!" Gunshots cut some of Steve's yelled words yet they puzzled the full sentence.

"You can't give me orders!" Peggy protested, scowling in worry. 

"The hell I can! I'm a Captain!" The blonde guy flashed Peggy last look before putting on glasses and jumping out, his parachute soon spreading wide. Evelyn got in Steve's previous spot, preparing to jump if it wasn't for Peggy grasping her arm.
