Finn: Hi. My name is Finn Hudson. I am a friend of Rachel Berry. I believe that is your daughter. Is that correct?

Shelby: Yes. What is your concern?

Finn: Well the situation is that you are Rachel's birthmom and when signing off the adoption papers. A problem occured and apparently you are still the legal guardian of Rachel. I have come here to ask you to sign the papers to fully give up the custody to her adoptive parents. Here are the papers.

Shelby: I STILL HAVE CUSTODY!? YAYY!!

Finn: You do have custody and if you dont sign the rights she will have to come live with you but if you want your daughter to be happy.

Shelby: Oh no that's not happening. You have made a bad mistake coming to me and telling me this information. If you really wanted me to give up the rights, you should have just tricked me.

Finn: NO! YOU ARE SIGNING THIS RIGHT NOW!!

Shelby: What if I don't? And why do you care so much about this whole situation anyways?

Shelby: Hello. Is this the adoption agency?

Representative: Yes it is. What can I do for you?

Shelby: I am Rachel Berry's birthmom and I was wondering if I can get any type of contact information about her?

Representative: Yes you can. Come into the agency and prove that to us that you are her mother. It is a policy.

Shelby: Okay. Thank you. Bye

Shelby: Hello. My name is Shelby. Is this Rachel Berry?

Rachel: Yes it is. Who is this?

Shelby: Hi Rachel. I am your birthmom and I want to meet up with you alone to discuss the papers.

Rachel: Um... Sure. See you in 20 minutes.

20 MINUTES LATER

Shelby: Hello. I know you dont want me to have custody and I honestly thought you were officially adopted but when Finn came to see me today. I realized it had another chance to starting a life with you. So, I cannot sign the papers. Sorry. (Runs out bawling)

Rachel: What does she mean Finn came to see her. Ugh i am gonna kill him if she does not sign the papers.

Finn: Hi Rachel. What are you doing here?

Rachel: Nothing. Got bored being alone. So when I went to sleep, did you do anything fun or interesting?

Finn: No. Just came home and went to sleep.
