III: Contract (Ver. 2)

Yeji's POV

Yuna could still go back here on the next full moon. While me would have to wait for the next eclipse to build a portal strong enough for me. I used my ability and sped up time a little. I can't use too much power or else it would be like before.

The sun is almost up.

I've decided to fly back to Ryujin's place and found her getting ready for work. It took me almost 30 minutes.

"Ryuddaeng!" i shouted and excitedly embraced her.

She then gave me a confused look.

"Miss?" she asked.

Oh fuck. I forgot i gave back her real memories. I stared at her once again to make her remember me when i suddenly felt... guilty. I couldn't do it.

"Uhm, sorry but i have to go," she said and removed my arms around her.

"Have a nice day, miss~" she said and gave me a faint smile.

That almost killed me inside.

I just waited outside her house till she got home. She's surprised once again seeing me. She awkwardly turned her phone on and i knew what she was going to do so i stood up and stopped her. I stared at her bringing her memories back again. It didn't take long till she realized everything and hugged me.

We spent the night together cuddling, talking about stuff till the next morning came. She doesn't remember me, again.

For the third time, her memories were restored only to spend time with me and not remembering it the day after.

It's just a constant loop. I can't settle for this, it's too unfair for the both of us.

I was thinking hard on what to do to stop it from happening when i saw a figure flew from Ryujin's roof. I followed it right away only to find out that it was Chaeryeong.

"Y-your highness," she shyly said as she bowed down to me.

I went towards her and stopped her.

"Call me Yeji," i commanded.

"I was sent here to talk to you--" she said and i gave her a frown.

"He knows what you've done Yeji unnie, you broke the deal..."

I gritted my teeth as i tried to concentrate. How could i possibly forget about that?

"And now that you couldn't go back to hell yet, he's decided to make another contract with you,"

I gave her an intense look causing her to flinch a little. She let out a deep breath before speaking again,

"What contract?"

"He said it's for you to find out," is he trying to see my worth as the Demon King?

"He'd just let you be with Ryujin, you have till the next eclipse comes," she explained.

Price, huh? It should be me making deals like that. I groaned and stopped myself to release a dark energy that would wreck the place.

And that price? Is he talking about Ryujin constantly forgetting about me even though I'm not removing the spell? Fucking Shit.
