Beep. Beep. Beep. Brrrring. Brrrring. Brrrrring.

I opened my eyes, squinting at my alarm clock and groaned. I don't wanna get up!! I sat up and got my clothes ready to take a shower. I was humming a song and I ended up spacing out. When I got out of the shower, I got dressed. I got a poptart and walked to school. I put my earbuds in and just let everything pass by.

I walked into the school building and went to my English class. I was on autopilot most of the day, so everything was a blur. At lunch, I sat in the corner of the lunchroom. I looked at my phone, I got a message from Zack. It's been about two months since lessons started and I'm honestly really happy that he treats me like a human.

Z: Hey, don't know when your test is but I hope you do great! The guys say hi and good luck :)

Me: It's my next class actually. I'm at lunch now. Thanks <3

I smiled and shook my head. This is too good to be true, I swear.

The bell rang and I made it to my science class. I took a deep breath before walking into the classroom. I got this, I can do this. I turned in the study guide and waited for the teacher to pass out the test. I looked at it, it was almost an exact copy of the study guide. This will be easy. I finished the test and turned it in. When I sat down, I looked around, I was the first one to turn it in. I got a little anxious, but it's all ok. I was doodling on my notebook until the bell rang. I went to my last class, history. I love this class.

"Afternoon, Shiloh." Mr. Sampson smiled at me.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Sampson."

"Are you ready for today's lesson?" I nodded and sat at my desk. Everyone else filed into the room and we all got situated. Sampson walked to the front of the classroom and brought up the slideshow, cuing for us to take out our notebooks. I took notes about the start of the start of the country's economy. I took all the notes and I started to draw pictures of what the lesson was about. Sampson walked around as he was talking, he looked over at my notes and grinned.

"Good job." he whispered to me and went back to the lesson. We wrapped it up and he let us pack up early.

"Don't forget your test on Monday. Everyone have a great weekend!" the bell rang and we all scattered out the school. I made my way home. When I got there, my dad was watching TV.

"How was school?" I shrugged and went to the kitchen to get a snack.

"It was alright. How was work?"

"Work was good. Do you have any plans with friends this weekend?" I chocked on my water a little.

"No, not that I know of. Why? Do we have stuff to do?"

"I might end up going on a business trip for a couple weeks. I was wanting to see if you had anyone to stay with or if you just wanted to stay here." I walked back into the living room and looked at him.

"I'll be fine by myself but if you want I'll ask my friends." What friends?

"Good, I like knowing you're safe with others when I'm gone." I nodded and went up to my room. I started working on my homework, until I got bored. I decided to go through my phone and see if there was anyone I could ask to spend the week with. No one, as usual. I put my head in my hands.

"I really don't have any friends at school, do I?" I scrolled through my phone again. I only had a handful of contacts. Dad, my grandparents, my music teacher, my cousin and Zack. Wow, I'm really not popular at all. I put some music on and continued to work on homework. I finished with my history work and watched some YouTube. I ended up taking a nap.
