The Bites of Seduction

Okay this just happened!

"What the hell," Victoria says with a pissed off voice. "What took you so long? I was texting Elijah I was here waiting for you and I had time to check my Instagram. That shows you how long you took! But whatever, I got to post a new pic on my insta so yeah!"

"Nice to see you too Victoria. I'm sorry, I was situating a problem." I say with sarcasm.

"Whatever, anyways, can you believe I went to Florida! Ugh it was so dream like! Other than the crocodiles there, it was so nice. We stayed in the nicest hotel and Elijah was being a little too close for comfort. I had to even book myself a separate room because Elijah thought we were going to stay in the same room. I was just like ' your cute honey, but not that cute' ha-ha it was fun!" She obviously likes to hear herself talk. I love her but seriously she needs to chill. I like to hear her stories but she makes herself seem so better than everyone else. Right now she is being very self conceded, more than normal. What's up with her?

"Cool, I had a good break so far, thanks for asking. I can't believe in five more days we are going to be back to school! I did some extra credit for my Spanish class and I managed to finish all my other homework so I'm relieved. But I don't want to go back to school-"

"I know! School sucks! I just can't wait to go back and see Jared again! Ekkkk!" She interrupts me with her enthusiastic comment.

"Wait what? You are going out with Elijah though!" I am so shocked that she could think about anyone else while she is with Elijah, especially after he just took her to Florida.

"Oh honey, he is getting to be such a bore. I think I am going to break up with him tomorrow. I'll pull the ' it's not you, its me' crap. I just can't believe that I let it go on this long. He's not that special." she says as she rubs her glossy lips together.

"I can't believe you Victoria! You have changed since you went to Florida! Elijah was like your world and you said you loved him! You were like gaga for him! I can't believe you are going to break up with him!" She seems so sure of herself. She is so much more mean. It's like she turned into Regina George from Mean Girls. What the heck!

" I guess Florida really opened my eyes! I know I can do so much better!" She brags.

"More like you used Elijah! He told you the date he planned to take you to Florida and now all of a sudden after you go, you wanna break up with him. You just waited until after he took you! I'm so upset! He is my friend Victoria!" I rant about how foolish she is acting.

"Obviously I know he is your friend honey. You are the one who hooked us up, remember? Oh my gosh Lilly! Don't be such a downer. Me and Elijah are just not meant to be! I would never just use Elijah for the trip." she say rolling her eyes at me.

She is probably acting like this because she thinks that every guy that is gaga for her is lower than her. Her ideal man needs to make her feel like she needs him. That's weird to me though. I would think it would be the opposite but whatever. She is complicated to understand.

I am still thinking about Dylan. It's so kind of Victoria to actually care about my break. She doesn't know anything about Dylan and I hope it stays that way. I hope Dylan didn't stay to long in my house. I hope he closed my front door.

"Oh look at the Ferris wheel! It's so big! I can't wait! Ready sister!" Victoria enthusiastically says as we enter the parking lot for the carnival.

I notice how many people are here. I didn't think it would be this packed.

"Ugh who is this person standing like a lost puppy in the middle of the driveway?" Victoria says with annoyance clear in her voice.

"Who?" I turn my head away from the side window to see a furious Dylan! He is frantically looking around, around for..... me! How is he here right now? He is standing around the parking lot looking around.

He better not see us! I duck my head to try to conceal myself. Then I get up remembering that the car windows are tinted enough to hide me!

"Victoria pull in to the other side!" I say with agitation.

"What do you know him or something? Am I missing something here? What are you not telling me? You obviously know him." she turns to look at a paranoid me, with a confused face.

Here goes to her not finding out about Dylan.

"No crap Sherlock! Now do what I say before he-" I stop mid sentence as I see those turquoise eyes turn to see our car.

"Oh my! You don't have to be so mean! And plus he already saw us. Now tell me all about it." Captain obvious points out the obvious once again. It's so like her to enjoy my pain and problems. She loves drama, what can I say?

I'm just upset at her attitude change. She is so bratty now. I will bite back if she acts up.

If she would have listened, Dylan wouldn't be striding angrily toward us right now after we just parked.

As he approaches the car, I pinch myself to make sure this is actually happening.

He is in front of my side of the car. I don't know what he's going to do but I'm guessing it won't be something pleasant.

He yanks the door open and looks at me with relieved eyes for a moment. How long has he been looking for me to find relief in seeing me? I look at him with my jaw agape. I can't believe that he is actually here! How did he know I was going here? How did he get here so fast? I think to myself.

I follow his gaze to a startled Victoria. I look back at him to see the rage return in his eyes.

Yes Dylan, I lied about being with a guy. Wait, no, I actually just didn't correct him when he said ' don't go with him' I just went along with it.

Am I the one to blame? What do I say? Dylan looks at me with disgust and I feel like I'm going to cry.
