The Bites of Seduction

That explains it!

After I told Victoria the whole story about Dylan, she looked at me with a shocked face.

"Dang! How much did I miss? What a creep! I can't believe he was so nice then turned out to be all mean so fast! It doesn't really make sense but whatever." She says and stares at me with disapproving eyes.

"What?" I look at her as we walk to the line for the UFO ride. I personally love this ride and had to drag Victoria with me. I love the feeling of going fast and feeling butterflies in your stomach while on a roller coaster. Some say that's the worst part of a ride but that's my favorite.

"You are so weird. The guy you actually pick to date is a creep. You do not have a good choice when picking guys. That's why you should have waited for me to come back from Florida instead of making out with a random dude. What is going on with that smart noggin of yours?" She explains as she tries to pull me away to another ride. I resist and she gives up.

"I don't know. I felt so comfortable with him and then all of a sudden he was mean. It's not like him but what do I know? I only knew him for a week." I say, feeling ashamed.

"Oh don't worry, we all run into the nut jobs once in a while." she says and starts laughing out loud.

I blush with embarrassment as she laughs at me. I was so stupid.

As Victoria tells me about her new hair cut, I look up to see a familiar face looking at me. Noticing that I looked at him, he waves his hand.

I know him! It was... ummm... Dylan had mentioned his name once. What was it?

Oh it was Nick.

I wave back and grin at him. I don't really know him but he seemed nice.

He started walking toward me after I waved and I feel a little nervous. He interrupted Victoria and introduced himself.

"Hey, what's up? Hi, I'm Lilly's friend Nick." He says as he shakes Victoria's hand. I can tell that she likes him as I see her twirl her hair around through her fingers. I just roll my eyes.

"Hi, I'm Lilly's best friend Victoria. I didn't know that Lilly has such a handsome friend. She never mentioned you." she says, never peeling her eyes away from Nick.

"Oh, we only just met not too long ago." he says looking at me. Victoria wanting to be the center of attention, starts talking.

"Lilly I really don't want to go on this ride! You know I don't like his ride. My stomach always turns and I feel like I am going to throw up after. I think I'm going to to got the bathroom instead. Your next anyway so you will probably be done by the time I get back. Especially with these bathroom lines! Nice meeting you Nick." she says as she turns around and sways her hips side to side to put a show on for Nick, no doubt.

"I'll be happy to join you Lilly. With your permission that is." He offers.

"Sure." I say not knowing why Victoria just left me alone with a guy I barely know.

"So, how are you and your boyfriend? I hear that everything isn't going well. Am I right?" He rudely asks. I really don't want to talk about this with him. I feel my anger take over and I snap.

"Umm none of your business. How do you even know about us? How did you know my name when you last saw me?" I ask wearily. I remember bumping into him when I was leaving my house to meet Dylan to go ice skating.

"Don't ask questions you don't want the answers to Lilly." He says with a coy smile.

"What are you talk..."

"Next!" I am interrupted by the employee telling us to get on the ride.

"Oh here." Nick gives the man tickets for both of us to get on the ride. After he gives the man the tickets, he guides me by placing his hand on the small of my back into the UFO ship.

Now I don't feel excited one bit to be on this ride. I feel like I'm going to barf. All I can think about is leaving this ride. Why couldn't I have gone to the bathroom with Victoria. Now I am stuck with freaking Nick! How does he know about me and my ex boyfriend? Why is he even asking about us?

As the ride starts, I can hear the other kids on the ride scream. I hear Nick laughing next to me and he inches closer to me.

I slide a little farther from him and I can feel his gaze on me. The ride seems to take forever.

After the ride, I walk as fast as I can to get off the ride. I hear footsteps banging against the metal ramp to get off the ride. Oh no!

Nick shows up on my left side and whispers into my ear, so close I can feel his warm breath.

"You are nice just like your boyfriend. I mean ex boyfriend. Am I right? That was the whole plan. So I had to slip him something so he could get a little riled up! Couldn't have him wandering around with the girl that was rightfully mine. Seemed like you didn't have a problem dumping him. Maybe you were happy to be rid of him after all! Now I can get close to you with out any distractions." he says, chuckling. Then he leaned down to try to kiss me. He has the nerve! I push on his chest. He stumbles backwards, not expecting my push.

"You what? That's my boyfriend you idiot! If you think that we are over now, you are an idiot! It wasn't him all this time! I knew it! He was so sweet and then he got angry and mean right after I saw you in the park! What did you do to him!" I yell with fury in my voice.

"Just a little remedy for a severe case of nice and kind. He was too nice! He just needed a little rage, anger and jealousy That did the trick just fine! You belong with me!" He smirks.

"Hell no! You gave my boyfriend drugs to make him turn on me. Then you expect me to be with you. You are one crazy boy. Get away from me you sicko!" People look around us like we are crazy but they don't understand what I am hearing right now!

"You will end up crawling back to me! That stuff doesn't wear off for a long, long, long time. Especially since I put it in his blood stream through a syringe. I just walked by and did it! And nobody will believe you if you tell anybody!" He yells back. As I am about to yell at him again, I hear Victoria call my name. I turn to see her scanning the crowd. She sees me and starts walking over. She is not going to believe this! I turn around to face Nick but as I turn around, nobody is there in front of me. I look around to see where he went. I was not done with our conversation! I can't spot him anywhere! Where did he go?

It wasn't Dylan's fault!

I can't believe I'm doing this, but I reach into bag for my phone and scroll down the contact list until I stop right in front of Dylan's name. Then I press the call button!
