"I need to call my parents. Both of them. And I need to tell them the truth, before the principal tells her the misconstrued story. I need to talk to them alone." I say.
"Well I can be here to be a sort of moral support. You don't have to be alone in this." Dylan replies.
"Dylan I'm a big girl. My parents trust me, and I can handle telling them the truth. I just need to organize my thoughts so that I can say what I need to say the right way. This is a serious accusation that I need to clear."
"I don't think there's any clearing this all up. Whether your parents believe you or not, the principal will know. She said you will have consequences."
"Dylan didn't you hear what she said? She wants to hush this up and she doesn't want me to speak of it again. As far as I'm concerned, my reputation will not be scarred. If my parents believe me, that's all that matters. The principal just chose the wrong person to believe. She knows me!"
"What happens if your parents don't believe you?" Dylan interrupts.
"I....I don't know, Dylan. I can't think like that right now. I need positive thoughts at the moment. Can you please understand that I just need some space right now? I'll go to the bathroom and talk to them and I'll be back in a bit. Can you just wait in the car for me until I'm finished?" I exhale loudly so Dylan stops pushing.
"Yes, you're right. Your parents know you. They will see past these lies. Sorry that I asked that. I'm here for you I'm whichever way you want me. If you want me in the car, I'm in the car. Come here." He says. I walk over into his open arms and he holds me.
He kisses my forehead and lightly pushes me in the direction of the girls bathroom.
"Now go, my little croissant." He beams with his beautiful blue eyes and pearly white smile.
"That's a new one." I giggle as I lift an eyebrow at his new nickname.
"The flirting and name calling will never end, my love." He says as he shoots a fake gun hand at me and winks.
"I won't be too long." I say as I walk towards the bathrooms, and I watch him walk towards his car.
As I'm about to get to the end of the hall where the bathrooms are, I turn around slowly to see if Dylan turned the corner to where his car was parked.
As expected, he had turned the corner. I turn back around and take my phone out of my pocket. I press a button, but I don't call my parents. I shove the phone inside my back pocket and instead of going to the bathrooms, I turn left. I walk swiftly towards Mr. Stuarts' classroom.
First step of my plan is complete.
When I approach the hallway to his room, I start tearing up. Then I noticeably cry out loud, and I see the door for his classroom open. I walk faster and see Mr. Stuarts carrying all his bags to leave his classroom. As he's about to close his door, I purposely bump into him.
"What the..." I hear Mr. Stuarts say as he drops some of his bags and tries to keep his balance. Once he makes eye contact and realizes it's me, he looks confused.
"Lilly?" He mutters.
"Oh thank goodness! Mr. Stuarts you have to help me! Dylan got so angry and broke up with me!" I shriek.
"He told me that he doesn't want to be dating someone that is going to be known as the student that tried to get with a teacher. He says his reputation means more to him than being with me. He's always been bad with his anger, but I didn't think he would end things over this! I don't know what to do!" I sob and cry hysterically. I hold onto his arm to make the pleading look more sincere. I might of started to shake my hands, but I think I went a little overboard.
