Fight me

I wake up to my alarm and I get ready faster than I ever have. I'm excited to see Lilly. After our rekindle yesterday, I'm so happy to see her.

I was so relieved that everything was a big misunderstanding because I was very upset with how things were going between Lilly and I.

I was so surprised when she kissed me because honestly I thought she was going to break up with me. When she said that she wanted to talk to me and get it over with, I for sure thought it was over.

Thank goodness that she was just joking because I don't know what I would have done. After everything, it turned out well though.

Her lips crashing against mine was all I needed to understand she still cared for me. She probably puts up this wall because she doesn't want to get hurt but I know she cared about me. I could see it in her eyes and the way that she kissed me, that she does care.

She told me that she loves me and that's all I need to know.

I don't expect her to tell her parents about us right away because she explained that she doesn't want to break their trust. That was the only reason why she told her parents that we were just friends. She will let them know slowly. It was my fault because if I hadn't of walked out on her when she was telling her parents about us and if I would have listened to her explanation afterward then all of this wouldn't have happened.

The main 'uh oh' moment for me was when I asked Makaila to help me. She was the one that was making the already horrible situation even worse. Things just got blown out of proportion and I did things that just left a bad outcome. I think I learned my lesson.

I know relationships will always have a flaw and this was one of them. Now Lilly and I get to confront Makaila and see what the hell is her problem. Why was she trying to break up my relationship with Lilly? This is why Makaila got upset when I mentioned that Lilly was my girlfriend. It all makes sense now.

Lilly had told me the story of the chocolate milk and it spilling on Makaila's shoes but that is no reason to create all this havoc. I didn't know that Makaila could have this deep hate for Lilly over a pair of shoes. Especially if Lilly offered to buy her another pair.

I get ready quite fast and gel my hair to the side. I put on some cologne and throw on some clothes. By the time I know it, I get in my car and drive to Lilly's house. She doesn't know that I am here to pick her up but I text her to look outside.

She looks out of her window with a surprised look once she sees me. I wave for her to come down and she smiles. She puts her finger up, signaling me to wait a minute.

I see that her parents are home because their cars are in the driveway. I wonder what she told them. Did she tell them that I live close so I offered to give her a ride or something about our relationship?

I shouldn't think like this. I push that thought away because those are the thoughts that resulted in our mini fight. All I know is that I will always be glad to have Lilly as my girlfriend and we will tell her parents when the time is right. Whatever makes Lilly comfortable goes.

I see Lilly run out of her house with her shoes in her hand and her backpack in the other. Her hair is wet and she is walking without any shoes or socks.

I run to go open the door for her and she looks up at me and says thank you. She hops in the car and I close the door behind her. I slide into the drivers seat and she is on the other side of me scrambling to get her socks and shoes on.

She looks so cute. There is a strand of hair in front of her eyes and I reach to put it behind her ear. She looks up at me with a smile and I see her cheeks turn red. As she continues her rapid movements, I grab her chin and pull it so that she looks at me.
