I snuck in late and headed straight for bed last night, no Hermione in sight.
I woke early the next morning and headed for breakfast, still no Hermione. Figured she was just finishing her homework.
I also talked to Ron about my date last night, but he gave me a disgusted look at the thought of Draco having a soft side. I laughed.
In class, still no Hermione. But, we had double potions with the Slytherins, and it just so happens, that I got paired with Draco.
We tried to keep our 'hating eachother' look as natural as possible, like nothing changed, but it was so hard when he was so perfect and sweet.
Suddenly, the cauldron fell over and broke over the desk.
"Potter! Pick that up at once! And get me something to wipe this goo off of me!" Draco barked, and pretended to throw up, winking at me, and pretending to be disgusted by his robes, now covered in green, bubbly, sticky, filth.
I did as he said, not wanting to draw attention to Snape.
"10 point from Gryffindor." Was all he said, he didn't even have to look up at us. He must be tired, but what could that old greasy thing be doing all night? Definetly not what I was thinking.. (🌚)
-------------------------------------
The rest of the day passed quickly, knowing that Draco was doing his best to keep us a secret, and I was fine with that. Whenever he wanted to 'come out' and tell about us, I would support him. I had some 'coming out' to do, myself. I decided it should be soon. But I needed to talk to Hermione first, we still hadn't seen her all day. I wonder where she could be.
Ron seemed to be distracted, and his face went bright red at any mention of Draco. What was going on lately?
When classes and dinner were over, all of the Gryffindors went to their common room. Mostly to finish homework, but today was a Friday. We only had our Potions essay, and only 2 rolls of parchment! Snape must feel generous, compared to what he usually gives for homework.
I was worried about Hermione. I decided to ask another Gryffindor girl if she had seen Hermione today.
"Yeah. Said something about staying in bed and finishing her homework all day. Want me to give her a message for you?" Parvati Patil had asked, and answered, kindly.
"Tell her that I need to talk to her about something very important. Very soon. Thank you." I said, writing on my parchment, giving Parvati only one look upward. She was not my favorite person to talk to, nor did I find her anywhere near attractive. Not compared to Draco.
My thoughts were interrupted by a grip on his shoulder pulling him out of his chair, up the stairs, and up to our dormintory. It was Ron. He motioned for Harry to sit next to him on his bed, then put a silencing charm around our dormintory so no one else could hear our conversation. It must be important then.
"Harry. There's something I've been meaning to tell you. For a long time. I know you won't hate me for it, but I need to tell someone." He said, choking on his words and gulping, he obviously looked nervous and sweaty.
"Of course, Ron. Anything." I answered, leaning in closer to Ron to get a better hearing of what he was saying, incase he missed anything.
He gulped and choked on his words the first few attempts to try to spill what he was trying to say.
"I'm gay" he finally spat out.
