Waking up early, both you and Isabela had your day busy with chores. Your father worked for the church every day, leaving you with your mom to take care of the house.
You had to go to the market with your mom to buy ingredients and stock up on vegetables and fruits that could last a week. Since you just spent a whole day with Isabela yesterday, you weren't allowed to meet with her till you finished your weekly chores, that was the agreement you had with your parents.
Moving as fast as you can, you immediately go to the market with your mom, grabbing everything you need off of the list you made. You were hoping to meet Isabela for a while in the afternoon, you didn't mind seeing Luisa or Dolores either.
Isabela on the other hand, had her hands full helping decorate the town with flowers for an upcoming wedding. Since it was such a small town, everyone was invited, making it kind of a grand celebration.
Both you and Isabela were greeted by such a busy environment. The streets were filled with preparations, walking around could get either of you easily lost in the crowd.
You and your mom head straight to the market, excusing yourselves through the crowd. You always helped your mom with cooking, you enjoyed it even, so you knew your stuff with choosing certain ingredients based on their scent, texture, softness, etc.
You made quick work of the things you had on the list with your mom before proceeding to head to the bakery to drop off some breakfast for your dad. You also made sure to pick up some cleaning products on the way.
As Isabela roamed the streets, helping to decorate alongside Dolores, her eyes landed on you from across the street. A smile forms on her face as she watches you move along the bustling crowd. She was happy to see how you interacted with all the vendors and shopkeepers, you got along so easily with them it's like the shy side of you never existed.
Although Isabela just had to admit to herself that the shy part of you is what she finds the most charming and adorable. You were quick to blush and look flustered, she couldn't help but enjoy teasing you.
Meanwhile, you were completely unaware of the gaze Isabela had on you, minding your own business and focusing on the task at hand, hoping to get out of the suffocating crowd as quickly as possible.
Once Isabela had lost sight of you in the crowd, she quickly went back to work, growing flowers that she deemed were in the perfect spot, making sure the colors complemented each other. She never forgot to ask for a second opinion from Dolores now and then since her creative juices in designing different flowers arrangements sometimes drained her.
After double-checking the things you needed to get done with your mom outside the house, you needed to start doing your chores on the inside.
On the way back home, you pass by a small shop that had hanging keychains and accessories. As your eyes scanned the shop, a certain pair of earrings caught your eye. You take it in your hands, looking closely at it. It was a pair of gold-plated flower earrings with light purple beads that dangled along with it.
It was beautiful and it instantly reminded you of Isabela. Seeing it look more beautiful as it shined under the sun did the deal. Not being able to resist, you quickly purchase the pair along with a pretty box for it and place it in your pocket before catching up to your mom.
Now all you needed to do was help your mom cook, eat lunch then clean your room. Isabela also visited your room a lot so your mom made sure it was clean so you wouldn't embarrass yourself.
When Isabela first came over asking to hang out in your room, you were surprised. She had a much cooler room than yours, you couldn't even compare the two.
