Tuesday rolled around and Lena woke up with a rare smile playing along her lips as she caught sight of the four roses on the other side of her room. How was it that five days ago Lena would have so much as hated the thought of having flowers laying about in her room, and now she could hardly wait to see what color she would get today.
It wasnt until the end of third period that a pale peach rose was presented to her. This one just magicaly seemed to appear in her bag though. It wasn't there before she went into professor grant's class but following there it was. Surely who ever was giving them to her had to be some sort of damn ninja. How else would they be able to get it in there so easily without her noticing. It was really starting to become unnerving how this person could get so close to Lena without her ever noticing.
A thought ocured to Lena as she delecately placed the rose in her locker. So far the note had seemed to appear in the same place as the rose everyday. Thus logicaly they would put it in her bag too. And just like that Lena wasn't going to let her bag out of sight for the rest of the day.
And so for the rest of the day she payed certain attention to anyone who wandered to close to her. It was truly exhausting work. Never mind class changes or lunch where the whole school just seemed to converge together on top of her.
By the end of the day no note had appeared nor had anyone tried to reach for her bag. Disappointed slightly Lena bid goodbye, in less then polite terms to say the least and headed off to the corner coffee shop before heading back home. It wasn't until she was rummaging in the debths of her bag for some lose change did the letter appear. Seriously what the hell! She had been vigilant the whole day at school how could it just appear. Fuming Lena slammed the change on the counter and left, coffee in one hand and the god forsaken letter in the other stalking back to school sipping her coffee as she went.

Lena,
I saw you keeping an eye out for me today. It didn't occour to me this morning when I placed that rose in your bag you would catch on and try to spot me. I underestimated you, that hurts my pride somewhat.
Pale peach is for confidence
As people we need confidence just as much if not more then skill or talent. I dont think you realise just how much your confidence just seems to flow out of you and wrap around everyone else around you. While I cant speak for everyone, I can certainly say that you have made me do things I would never normaly do. Not that I dont think it but your confidence can effect me so much that I can act them out. In fact I'm still left wondering how just a few words from you can make me throw all kinds of cautions out the window.
But then there is the flip side when your moral is low and there is barely a flicker of that confidence that I'm used to seeing in your eyes. In those moments I want nothing more then to take you into my arms and hug you tight until your confidence in yourself is restored. I do know this could never really happen though, you would sooner deck me then let me hug you. But know I will always be wanting to whenever your feeling low.

Coffee drank, and cup crushed. Lena was driving back home. Mind not even remotly close to the road. Her confidence efects that person that much? Lena was a little dubious about that. Off the top of her head she couldn't think of anyone, shes ever gotten to do something by confidence. Fear, yes, but confidence? That dosesnt sound right. Is that even posible? Maybe their just gullable. That sure would make a hell of alot more sense.
Yet Lena knew that wast the case. Sure they might not be the most stand out free thinking person, but gullable dosent sound right. If they were then half of whats been said wouldn't have been right.
