"What the shit biscuit"

"I believe what they're trying to say is we have no fucking idea what you're talking about so please stop looking at us like we're supposed to have some big dramatic reaction" Wade translated for me.

"The Red Room" Clint burst out before Bruce could speak, "It's where Natasha was trained, her and many others, it's an organization that..." He gulped, seemingly unable to continue, Bruce butted in.

"They take girls and make them fight, they turn them into soldiers"

"They kidnap hundreds of young girls and train them, hell I'd even call it torture, very few make it through the process, they don't turn them into soldiers, they manufacture an elite force of killers. Widows can kill anyone and anything, they could take down entire countries in a day, they are beyond any human power we have faced." Clint's tone became harsh and spiteful, "These women aren't soldiers, they're machines." he spat at Bruce, who looked a little worried for his safety.

"I'm sorry Clint, I didn't know" Bruce apologized, his voice small.

"Yo, so they're like cyborgs? I've always wanted to fight a cyborg!" Wade added excitedly

"No! They're human but-" Clint turned frustratedly

"I know man I'm just fucking with ya" Wade patted him on the shoulder, only to stop and slowly trail his hand down Clint's chest.

I swatted his hand away, "remember how we talked about consent?"

"yeah sorry" Wade looked down, feigning the demeanor of a small innocent raccoon.

"Anyway," Cap brought us to attention, giving Wade a slightly disgusted look, "our first priority is finding Natasha, if he doesn't have her he can't get to the Red Room."

"And we have to save her because we love her so much" I reminded him, looking at him expectantly

"Right, that too" he followed up, looking slightly guilty.

That sparked joy, I'll keep him

"Okay, so how do we know where they took her?" I said, ridding my face of the smirk brought on by Cap's guilt.

"Well first I believe these are a type of soldier, we should dismantle the cerebral matrix before we leave," Bruce said casually, walking over to one of the statue-like iron suits without looking at any of us.

"My boy you gotta explain yourself," I said rolling my eyes, "We don't have a translater anymore," I said it jokingly but the look on Bruce's face said otherwise. I forget they've known him for years, this was a betrayal that he was clearly not ready to joke about, "my bad bestie" I amended, Bruce gave a small nod of forgiveness before returning to the back panel of the first suit, fiddling with the wiring beneath the metal plating.

"But please actually explain cause we don't get it" I repeated in a softer tone

"Yes of course. Essentially, I believe these are Tony's Iron Legion, he made them a few months ago to help us reduce collateral damage in future battles, they're built to prioritize the safety of citizens during an attack." He paused and looked at Cap, his tone deepening, "but they're also programmed to fight if necessary, with the sheer amount in this room, and now knowing ULTRON's intentions, they're a threat"

Cap gave Bruce a curt nod, "Do what you need to"

"That's the issue" Bruce looked up from the droid with a stern expression, "They can't be reprogrammed without security clearance" he continued after seeing our confused faces, "only Tony controls them"

"Of course" Wade sighed with an eye roll

"Do they fight back?" I asked, quirking an eyebrow.

Thor smirked and let out a small grunt of ascent, clearly understanding and liking my plan.
