Jennie is 7 month pregnant with Aera & Arang

Taehyung's ears perked when he heard the woman sitting beside him let out a soft whimper. Turning his head to the left, Taehyung frowned at his wife, who was shifting her eyes around the big hall room and fidgeting in her seat

"Jen, what's up with you?" Taehyung asked, reaching his hand out so it could rest on her shaky knee

"Tae, everyone is staring at me" Jennie said worriedly

"Babe, no one is staring at you" Taehyung reasoned with her

"It feels like they are" Jennie stared at Taehyung, her bright brown eyes piercing right through him

"If anyone is staring at you, it's just because you look so beautiful tonight" Taehyung smiled lovingly to his wife "You're the most gorgeous woman in this whole room"

"That's only your opinion" Jennie whined "And it's because you're married to me!"

"I really think that everyone else feels the same way" Taehyung shook his head "Everyone has been telling me how great you look. I bet a bunch of guys here are drooling over you! In fact, if you see any, let me know. I'll beat 'em up" This finally got a laugh out of Jennie, which lightened the mood to some extent. She quickly went back to pouting, however, as she grumbled

"Oh, Tae, no one here is drooling over me! I look like a Qwilfish that was stuffed into a dress"

"That's a very creative insult for yourself" Taehyung complimented, causing Jennie to roll her eyes "But it isn't true"

"I look terrible" Jennie argued. She obviously wasn't going to give up this fight very easily. Letting out a small huff, Taehyung pushed his chair away from Jennie so he could study her from a further distance

She was very obviously pregnant, but Jennie was the kind of woman who glowed and looked absolutely beautiful in such a state, whether she wanted to see it or not. Jennie had chosen a special maternity dress for this special event; a floor length, red colored frock with lacy and an elegant beaded neckline that sparkled in the lights of the stage

Her bright brown hair was swept back into an easy, but still sophisticated, up do and her make - up was natural but apparent. Because of the elaborate neckline of her dress, Jennie hadn't worn a necklace, so her beautifully structured collar bone stood out. Her ears were a different story, however; in her ear lobes were a pair of gorgeous, teardrop diamond earrings, the posts of which replicated two delicate flowers

"No, you definitely don't look terrible" Taehyung murmured, shaking his head "You're really stunning"

"I wish I could believe you" Jennie shook her head before holding it in her hands "My self - esteem just flat out sucks right now"

Taehyung clicked his tongue and pulled Jennie in for a hug, giving a kiss on her cheek

In the middle of their embrace, a tap on the shoulder caused Taehyung to loosen his grip and look behind him. Jennie, who was confused by Taehyung's sudden retreat, blinked her eyes and looked in the same direction as her husband

"I hate to disturb you. But, Tae, I need you up front. You're on in just a few minutes" Namjoon said while smiling to the couple

Taehyung sighed but gave Jennie a gentle smile "I'll be right back, sweetheart. We can cuddle a little more when I get back"

"Yay...." Jennie murmured, quite a bit on the sarcastic side

Frowning, Taehyung got up from his chair and followed after Namjoon, who was marching towards the backstage rather proudly. Taehyung was having a hard time copying the words, however. And when they finally reached the end of the backstage, Namjoon turned around to address his friend, he picked up on this negative mood

"Tae, what's going on with you?" Namjoon inquired

"Jennie is upset" Taehyung looked up at his Hyung "And that makes me upset"

"She's not been herself, that's for sure" Namjoon sighed "But all you have to do is to give this speech to the audience of this award show. Once you finish that, you can go right back to your wife" Taehyung simply nodded

As Namjoon walked away, the Singer reached into the pocket of his tuxedo and fingered at the folded piece of paper, making sure his pre-written speech was still there. It had been perfected; checked and proof read over and over again by people that Taehyung didn't even know. Words had been added, and sentences omitted. All to the point where it barely felt like Taehyung's written words. Of course, they said it was because he was terrible at writing speeches, which is why they had to be completely changed

"And now, ladies and gentlemen. The best song of this year goes to 'Love You' by Kim Taehyung! Now I would like to call Kim Taehyung to come to this stage and say a few words"
