Yuri & Yujin : 2 years old

"Mommy....wake up Mommy"

Jennie groaned and reluctantly opened her eyes. It took a few moments for her eyes to adjust the darkness of her and Taehyung's bedroom, but eventually, she was able to see Yuri hanging over her, the little girl's eyes wide with fear, and her mouth bent into a frown

"Yuri, honey, what is it?" Jennie rubbed her eyes. She turned her head towards the nightstand and read the time on the alarm clock 1:30 AM

"I had a bad dweam, Mommy" Yuri whimpered "It was so scawy"

"Do you want to sleep in here?" Jennie asked the little girl

Yuri nodded happily and climbed over her mother, accidentally kneeing Jennie in the back as she clambered over her Mommy

Jennie winced, but didn't say anything out loud. She knew Yuri hadn't meant to do that. Pulling the covers up, Yuri wedged herself between her mother and father, since there wasn't much space in between them

Taehyung liked to sleep closer to Jennie, so whenever one of the twins wanted to stay in bed with them, it involved pushing Taehyung off to the side. The little nudge caused Taehyung to groan softly in his sleep, but otherwise it didn't disturb the sleeping man

"Are you comfortable?" Jennie asked sleepily

Yuri snuggled herself deeper into the mattress, pulling the comforter all the way up to her face and pressing her head into the side of her Mother's pillow

"Yes" Yuri replied happily

"Good" Jennie breathed out and closed her eyes once again "Good night, baby girl"

"Good night, Mommy"

The room settled into silence for another hour and a half. For Jennie, however, it only felt like 15 minutes. For once those 90 minutes had gone by, Jennie once again heard the sound of little footsteps, and then felt the presence of someone hovering above her sleeping body. Breathing out heavily, Jennie raised her eyelids and found herself staring right into Yujin's eyes

"What's wrong, Yujin?" Jennie yawned

"Mommy, I heawd a scawy noise in my room" Yujin crawled closer to his mother "I think thewe's a monster in my closet"

"Baby, there's no such thing as monsters" Jennie stroked the boy's cheek

"Maybe it was a ghost" Yujin's eyes grew wide

"Yujin, there's no such thing as ghosts either"

"Yes thewe are" Yujin gasped

"Let me guess" Jennie tilted her head back and stared up at the ceiling "You want to sleep in here with me and Daddy"

"Yes" Yujin nodded

"Alright" Jennie sighed, inching closer to the edge of the bed in order to make room for Yujin "Lie down, now, sweetheart"

Yujin threw himself down on Jennie and rolled off onto the vacant space. He had knocked some of the wind out of Jennie by laying on her, so the young woman was now groaning quietly and holding onto her sore stomach

Getting comfortable between his sister and mother, Yujin was quick to fall back asleep, without so much as a "good night" for his weary Mother

At least we only have two of them now. As Aera and Arang are with my parents at their house ~ Jennie muttered to herself as she drifted back into sleep. No more disruptions ~ Or so she thought

Jennie was later woken up by someone kicking her in the leg. Slowly opening one eye, Jennie realized that Yujin was practically sleeping on top of her, and his legs were kicking almost frantically in his sleep

Groaning, Jennie sat up and gathered the sleeping boy into her arms. She had to be careful, because he was a light sleeper, but Jennie managed to move him off of her without waking him up. Looking over her shoulder as she laid back down, Jennie peered at the alarm clock and took note of the time: 5 o'clock

I just want to sleep! ~ Jennie thought miserably to herself as she slunk back down and closed her eyes

An hour and a half later, Jennie was awoken for the fourth time that night, although by now, it was early in the morning

This time, Yujin was laying across her horizontally, his small feet resting towards the edge of the bed and his head and outstretched arms taking up space in the middle of the bed

Taehyung tried to move closer to Jennie in the last few hours, because he was now lying on his side and not on his back

Yuri was hanging onto him, one arm around his shoulder and the other around his neck. Her left leg was hanging over Taehyung's side, while the right remained on the bed. Her head was resting against his chest, and every now and then, the foot that was hanging over Taehyung's body would give him a little kick, causing him to whine and contort his face in his sleep

Sighing, Jennje tried to gently shrug Yujin off of her, but with no luck. She turned slowly to the left, hoping that the little boy would roll off. Unfortunately, all that did was roll him closer to her chest, further limiting Jennie's ability to breathe

I guess I'm a human mattress now ~ Jennie rolled her eyes. There's no going back to sleep now

At exactly the same time, Taehyung seemed to have been having the same thought. His eyes slowly opened and, instead of his usual yawn, he let out a quiet moan

Looking down at his chest, and around at his side, he realized that the reason for his less peaceful sleep was the fact that his daughter was hanging onto him like he was a giant teddy bear

"Ugh, man" Taehyung groaned, trying to move his arm without disturbing Yuri's sleep. He looked up and found Jennie to be awake and staring at him. Moving his eyes down further, he saw Yujin laying across Jennie's chest

"Yes, we're both having a lot of fun this morning" Jennie murmured

"What are they doing in here?" Taehyung squeezed his eyes shut repeatedly since he couldn't free his arms to rub the sleep from them

"Yuri had a nightmare" Jennie recanted "And Yujin thought there were ghosts in his closet"

"Did you tell him they aren't real?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow

"Yes. Tae, you have to understand that they're only 2 years old" Jennie smiled sympathetically at her husband "They're going to get scared at night sometimes and want to come sleep with their Mommy and Daddy"

"I'm not mad about them sleeping in here" Taehyung quickly refuted "I don't mind it at all. I just wish they weren't so....clingy in their sleep"

"Okay, I can agree with that" Jennie nodded

"Do you think they're going to wake up anytime soon?" Taehyung frowned

"It's only five in the morning, so I'm gonna go ahead and say no" Grimacing, Jennie added "They seem to be pretty comfortable at the moment"

"That makes two out of the four of us" Taehyung sighed

"So, you just wanna stay like this until they wake up?" Jennie glanced up at Taehyung again

Twisting his mouth, Taehyung studied Yujin and Yuri's current positions and replied "I don't think we have much of a choice"

"Great" Jennie rolled her eyes before closing them again, hoping that by some miracle, perhaps she would fall back asleep

"Jen..."

"What, Tae?"

"...I can't feel my arm..."

"I can't breathe. Suck it up"
