14TH Century, France Two men in cloaks we're walking in the woods with torches in their hands. They walk slowly and see a knife stuck on a big stone block. They take the hood of their cloaks off their heads and walk towards the knife.
(Italics is in French) "And you wanted to turn back." One man says to the other.
The other man looks ahead. "Wait." He says tapping the first man's arm. They both look up to see the gargoyle. "The Guardian. We must leave this place at once." The second man urges.
"Fairy tales for children." The first man says.
"As was the knife." The second man rebutted.
The first man goes to take the knife but before he could they hear a loud growl and a swooshing sound. They turn around to look.
The first man notices the gargoyle statues gone. "He has awoken."
He turns around to run only to be stabbed by a stone sword held by the gargoyle. He stabs him repeatedly until he falls to the ground.
He growls at the first man and walks closer to him. He drops his torch and holds his hands out.
"Ignarious. Ignarious!" His hand flame up and he fires it at the gargoyle.
But the gargoyle just walks through it to him. The man gets done on his knees begging for mercy. "Mercy, mercy! I beg you. Mercy..." The gargoyle stabs him and then walks towards the knife.

Ric has a book in front of him and the knife on top of it as he just stares at the knife. He flips the page.
"Gaulish." He mutters. "Why does it always have to be Gaulish?"
He hears a creaking noise behind him and turns to look outside the window. Only to see nothing there. He turns back to the book and continues to read.
