Don't Leave Me

Chapter 21

Draco POV
Things are really getting downwards. Umbridge kept giving people detention, and everyone who'd had detention came back with scars on their hands. I realised that was the reason why Harry was wearing gloves for a week. I asked Harry about it, and he explained everything about blood quills. He also showed me his scars. I must not tell lies. When I said he never lied except that one time, he told me his whole life he had been lying. He didn't want to talk about it and dropped it. Dumbledore had to leave Hogwarts, but no one knows why. Umbridge took the job of Headmistress, and she kept making stupid rules. Harry and I were walking to our dorm when we saw Filch put up a new rule. Boys and girls must keep at least six inches distance. Harry chuckled. "Hey Ferret. Wanna annoy Umbridge?" "Always. What's the plan?" He whispered in my ear. "Awesome. But how do we know where she is right now?" "Leave that to me. Let's go." We walked to our dorm, and Harry took the Marauders Map out of his trunk. He took his wand and touched the parchment with the tip of it. "I solemny swear that I am up to no good." As lines crossed the map, I said:"We should really thank those Marauders." He nodded. "I'll bring them your thanks." "Wait a minute. You know them?" "Of course I do. Prongs was my father, Padfoot is Sirius, Moony is Remus and Wormtail is Peter. Umbridge is in her office, let's go." He touched the map again. "Mischief managed." He putted it back in his trunk before walking away.

I groaned. "We've been waiting for ages. Where is she?" "Be patient." I started to protest, but got cut of by Harry. "She's coming!" We got in positions. Harry wrapped his arms around my neck, I wrapped my arms around his waist. We waited a moment, and when we heard her coming around the corner, we kissed. We heard her gasp. "What in Merlins name is going on? There is a rule to keep six inches distance!" We stopped kissing, but we still held each other. Harry spoke up. "If I may correct you, Professor, the rule says: 'Boys and girls must keep at least six inches distance. We're both boys." She just stood there, her mouth moving without making sound. She cleared her throat. "Right. I'll just go." She almost ran off. We saw her turning around a corner, looked at each other, and burst in laughter. After we calmed down a little, I said:"That was awesome." Harry nodded. "Did you saw her face? Priceless."

Harry POV
"Luna! Wait for me!" She turned around and pushed her Nargle-spotting glasses in her hair. "Hello, Harry." "Hi, I've got Transfiguration, and I was wondering if you could tell the others the meeting will be at five instead of four?" She smiled. "Of course. But you really need to sleep more, there are Nargles all around you." "Will do, but I need to go now. Thanks. Bye Luna!" An I ran off. Since I'd found the Room of Requirement, I started teaching a group students, called the DA, Dumbledore's Army, to prepare for the upcoming war. It was a secret though, especially since Umbridge forbid any student clubs. I ran into the classroom and sat down beside Draco. "Where've you been?" "Asked Luna if she could tell the others about the meeting." He nodded.

Draco burst trough the door. "Everyone quiet, Umbridge and the Student Council are coming!" I stopped dead in my tracks, and everyone else stopped practicing. One of the walls started crumbling. I walked over, and looked trough a tiny hole. I turned around. "Everyone quiet. Leave trough that door, and head to your common rooms as soon as possible. Do not use the corridor behind this wall. Go!" A door appeared in the wall opposite the damaged wall, and the most DA members ran away. A few stayed. I looked from face to face of my closest friends. Luna, Neville, Hermione, Blaise and Draco. The wall crumbled further. "Go!" They looked all at me, and ran off. I ran closely behind them, and as the clumsy fuck I am, I tripped. Draco turned around and helped me up. Then we both got caught by the council.

"Well, well. Student clubs are forbidden, mr. Potter." Draco looked at me with slight panick in his eyes. I shot a glance at him, from which he knew meant don't say or do anything, just leave it to me. He nodded slightly. "I'm sorry Professor, but we needed to practice to control professor Dumbledore's secret weapon." Her eyes widened slightly. "And where and what is this weapon?" "That's a secret, that's why it's a secret weapon." "Bring me there." I shook my head. She slapped me, and I had to shoot another glare at Draco, because he looked like he wanted to kill her. "Fine." I stood up and walked away, followed by Draco and Umbridge.

"The Forbidden Forest?" I nodded. "Lead the way, mr. Potter." I walked in and stopped at a clearing. "Well, where's this weapon?" The ground shook. "There it is." A half giant came around. This was Hagrids brother Grawp. He took Umbridge of the ground and made a loud noise. Centaurs came around, and Grawp gave Umbridge to them. "So this is the target?" I nodded. "Yeah, thanks for the help, Firenze. And also thanks to you, Grawp." Grawp got back to sleep, while Firenze said:"Anytime, Harry." He galloped away, Umbridge screaming:"Help, Potter! Tell them I mean no harm!" "I'm sorry Professor, but I must not tell lies!" Draco burst in laughter.
