Scott's P.O.V.

I parked my car, smiling at Sierra quickly. Getting out, I go around to help her get out, carrying her hamsters cage. I followed her into my house, wayward thoughts entering my mind, only because I still couldn't shake the dream I had.

Sierra looked at me funny, I'm sure she could tell I was off, "Are you alright? Or has the whole idea of the world ended actually gotten to you?" She grabbed the rest of her things heading to the front door.

I shook my head. "It's still a difficult concept to grasp. I mean, here I was this morning, just looking outside from waking up from a... Nevermind that isn't important. But all of a sudden, BAM! So yes, of course I'm not 100% alright." I took a quick breath, watching as she walked. I loved the way her hips swayed, and I could only imagine the things that I would do to her since there were no more laws.

She glanced back to me as she held the door open for me, "Ready to head in, I'm sure others are waiting?"

"Yeah, and I'm praying that Danny started to make the food. This big boy is hungry." I chuckled, entering the living room. I froze when I saw a certain dark-haired male lounging on my couch. My jaw clenched, and I tightened my grip on the hamsters cage.

Sierra was just as surprised as me if not more, she had lost grip of her bag, "What's he doing here?" She spoke quietly, staring intently at him still.

Brett turned his head, looking at me. He hopped off the couch, standing to approach me. I narrowed my eyes, staring him down. Turning to the side table, I put the cage down, ready to throw him out of my house.

"I can already guess what you're thinking, I wouldn't try it." He smirked, standing in front of me, "Did you miss me?" I stood over him a few inches, however it was null to intimidate him.

"Don't even tell me what to do. This is my house. I decide who can and cannot be in here." My jaw was clenched, and I could feel the rest of my body tensing. "I suggest you get out. You're not really wanted here."

"On the contrast..." He shone his devilish eyes, which I hate to no bounds. I clenched my fisted as he got closer to me, "I was brought here..." He spoke by my ear, carrying that same menacing smirk.

"What do you mean? Last I knew the only people who were going to be here would be David, Danny, Lauren, Derek, Andi, and Sierra. Not some neanderthal that doesn't know what a haircut is." I was ready to grab him by his collar and show him the way out not so nicely.

"You're missing one. You did call her did you not?" Brett turned hearing footsteps.

"Hey, so I couldn't find the beer, and believe me I looked thoroughly." I immediately recognized the voice, causing me to smile. I watched her walk into the room approaching us. I can't tell if she noticed me or not. She beelined towards Brett, kissing him deeply, careful not to spill the glasses of water she had. I looked to Sierra, who was equally as shocked.

I swallowed hard, staring at them. "Uh Kate. There is a child in the house. He doesn't need to see any throat exploration." I spoke gruffly, my heart feeling as though it was tearing in half. I turned and walked across the room, not wanting to be close to her at the moment. The betrayal and hurt was beginning to swim through my veins.
