Artemis' POV
I bounced into the room, laughing really hard. "Ice, Flame, that was sick! I think he's scarred for life!" The boys followed me inside, sitting on my blue plush couch. They were exhausted. For them that was really strenuous fighting. To me, that was second nature. I plopped down between them, making Ice groan. "Sorry, man, I'll try to calm down." I told him, pulling my phone out of my pocket.
"Are you gonna call Justin?" Flame asked, perking up. He loved to wierd people out over the phone. Like, he knew all of the stupid prank calls, and he used them all the time.
"Yep. I want to see how his concert went." I called him, the ringing in my ear bothering me to no end. Or that just might have been the boys. You never know. The phone went to voicemail. I tried not to look disappointed in front of the boys, but they knew me too well. Even if we hadn't seen each other in forever, they knew me completely.
"Hey, this is Justin. I'm not able to pick up right now. I'm either on stage or hanging with the greatest girl in the world: Jasmine." Wait, back that up a second... Did he just say..?
"UH, BRuise, I thought your name was Artemis?" Ice asked, confused. So many blows to the head can dumb you up a little...
"It is. I am really hoping the Jasmine he was talking about is his little sister," I told them. I'm not weak, I'm stronger than anything this world can throw at me...
Oh, really? Is that why you totally became goth and retracted all of youer talents? My conscience answered back. That's bad... My brain is talking to itself, and I'm listening in... I need mental help!
"I can't wait until Justin's home."
