Justin's POV
Ryan, Chaz, Christian, and I pulled up at Diana's family's farm, listening to the motorcycles. We heard two, wondering if it was Diana's brothers riding on the course.
Jazmine and Diana bounced out of the house laughing. The came over and gave us all hugs. They seem to be the more talkative pair of the four.
"Where's Artemis?" I asked as Jazmine joined hands with Christian. When did that happen?, I asked myself in disbelief, glancing at the smiles on their faces.
"She's out on the bikes with Selene," Diana told me, leaning into Chaz's open arms.
"Wait, Artemis can drive a motorcycle?" I asked, flipping my hair out of my eyes. I looked around to see if the girls were pranking us, and the two would pop out of nowhere. I couldn't hear her adorable laugh, so she wasn't in the immediate vicinity.
"DRIVE a motorcycle? Dude, that girl BUILT her own motorcycle! She could go pro if she wanted," Jazmine told me, laughing along with Diana. "She loves mechanics almost as much as she loves writing music." The second the words were out of her mouth, her eyes widened and she covered her lips with the hand that wasn't being held. Diana, eyes hard, finished for her as we walked toward the course.
"Everything she loved was taken away by Derrick, her ex, two years ago," she told us, lowering a red flag at the start of the course. It was easily visible from the entire course. "He's the cause of the Golden Rules, and he's why she doesn't do music anymore. She didn't even listen to music until your concert."
The conversation was suddenly drowned out by the roar of a motorcycle engine. An aqua and black motorcycle flew off of a jump, over our heads, and over a violet and black motorcycle coming out of twisted tunnel. They skidded to a stop parallel to each other, hitting the kickbreak, turnig them off, and dismounting. They took off their helmets, walking toward us. The rider of the purple motorcycle was Selene, who immediately had her lips crushed to Ryan's in a hello kiss.
I couldn't believe who the second rider was. Her black hair fell to her waist as she took her helmet off, and she shook out her tangles. Her cheeks were windblown, her green eyes brighter than I'd seen them in all the time I'd known her.
"Artemis?"
