Who am I? [Gaara]

Chapter 5

I kick my shoes off and enter the living room, flopping down onto the couch. It's been exactly two weeks and four days since I moved into the Leaf Village.

"Gaara... I wish you were here..." I whispered. I went and talked to the Hokage earlier today about sending Gaara a letter. Pointless. Apparently, the Kazekage has forbidden any contact with Gaara.

"Stupid Lord Kazekage..." I angrily muttered to myself. I slide off the couch and lazily walk over to my bed.

Today I was cleaning up the river with Squad 7. It was so 'troublesome', as Shika would say.

After that, I decided to train for a little bit, and on my way to the training grounds, I ran into a team of ninja. I've never seen them before. Their sensei was slightly on the weird side. He was as loud as Naruto and kept yelling things about youth. The three genin were a boy who looked exactly like the sensei, a girl with brown hair with two buns, and a boy with eyes like Hinata's. I accidentally walked into him and fell down...

"Ah!" A cry escaped my lips as my body hits the ground. I look up. The boy with musky eyes turns around and glares at me. I quickly stand up dusting myself off.

"I'm so sorry!" I was slightly bowing my head. Before the boy can say anything, his sensei came towards me.

"Oh, you're the new girl! I'm sure Neji doesn't mind if you come and train with us?"

"I..." I trailed off. This random team invites me to train with them?

"Come on! You've got the power of youth, isn't that right, Lee?"

"Yes, Gai-sensei!" The smaller kid in the green jumpsuit yell who looks like his sensei. I sighed and accept their offer.

"Those guys work so hard. If I had to do that every day, I'd die! Man, today was a hard day..." I quietly say, lying down onto my bed.

Hundred laps around the village. How does that kid do it on his hands?

"Hi, Sasuke!" Sakura says, coming up and standing next to Sasuke, who is standing next to me. I give Sakura a smile. She just grinned at me. She seemed a bit friendly today. I sighed and I really can't wait for Naruto to get here. Speaking of the devil.

"HI SAKURA! HI KASUMI!" We hear Naruto's booming-loud voice. As usual, he ignores Sasuke. Both of these guys have such an ego...

"You're late, Naruto!" Says Sakura, smacking him over the head. She's always so mean to him. I giggled and Naruto rubs his newly formed bruise.

"Hey Naruto, can I heal that?" I ask, stepping up to him.

"So you're a medical ninja? That's pretty impressive at your age." Sasuke says. Sakura frowned, I wonder what is up with her? Oh well. If I want to be known as a good medical ninja, I will need practice and lots of it. I begin healing Naruto's bruise when Kakashi-sensei turns up.

"Sorry I'm late... there was an old lady who needed-"

"We've already heard that one, Kakashi-sensei! Try thinking of something else for once!" Naruto runs up to the jonin, yelling all sorts of things.

"Man, Naruto is such an idiot! I mean why do we have to be stuck on the same team as him, right Sasuke?" Says Sakura. Eh? More flirting I guess.

Even I don't flirt with Gaara... Do I? Or, did I, should I say. I miss him so much....

"Sakura, you're as annoying as Naruto. The only person I would work with is Kasumi since she's quiet and not irritating. Come on, Kasumi, we should start the mission." He says, taking my hand and pulling me after him. Where the hell is Sasuke taking me?! Sasuke! I turned around to see Sakura fuming with red all of a sudden. I gave her an apologetic look.
