Levi:
He is surprisingly calm because when the argument gets heated his voice only becomes stern, a usual warning to stop pushing further into the matter. I think it's obvious that his eyes are always glaring but it barely happens when he's alone with you. His eyes that are usually tired and soft, suddenly sharpen to your direction.
Say you kept pushing and pushing, he'd interrupt you with a sudden yell, causing you to visibly flinch.
After arguments it's a bit awkward, because he doesn't know what to do. Like- do you guys know that food thing your mum does after you argue? Levi does something similar except he straight up lies.
"Someone left you something," and then you check, it's definitely not something from anyone you know, Levi just gave you a gift to say sorry but was too shy to give it to you upfront.
You'd hesitantly hug him, slowly inching into his arms as you search for any resistance or disgust that may cause him to push you off or complain. But you see none as he nuzzled himself in the crook of your neck, mumbling a flustered apology. You
Eren:
-oh boy
Eren has a horrible gift, in which when he argues with anyone, it somehow compels them to hate him, to want to murder him. So when you argue, you can't help but return the aggression he's throwing on you 10x harder.
He's a complete hothead, when something doesn't go his way, he's livid.
It ends in a fight where you both screaming your lungs out at each other, not bothering to give the other a chance to speak as you only throw things at his direction, only for him to chuck it back at you.
Like shit, people can hear you from miles away, you're not being discreet no matter the touchy subject.
Eren also does the hand thing where it looks like he's dying to smack you- you know, when someone does strangling motions in your direction and lets out the most aggressive noises. In the end he just takes his anger out on furniture or punches the walls. The dents are just reminders of how much of a hothead he is.
The aftermath of these arguments are surprisingly calm. You both separate yourselves before you'll do something you'll regret.
So what'll happen is, Eren sees you sat down on the couch, hugging your knees with a kiss slight pout at the sound of his footsteps. He'll then shyly sit next you with a blush, speaking only with a gentle tone. Maybe his voice aches after yelling for so long but hey, it's Eren Jeagar, screaming is his thing.
•Bertholdt:
Because of his lack of will to fight, no one really knows how Bertholdt gets when he's mad. Not even Reiner has seen bertholdt's angry moments. In fact, he has a reputation of being gentle, a man who has never raised his voice.
Let me tell you, once you start the fight, it starts off with him casually talking back at you, then slowly, he begins to reveal his rage. It's just him being very sassy towards you. Like drag queen typa sassy.
He never really insults you, it's just him snapping at you and whatever you're saying. Bertholdt, even in the midst of a heated argument, could never hurt you so he really does try to find a way to solve the issue rather than just flat out blame you or himself.
However if the issue or the argument doesn't seem to be dissolving, he gets emotional. And on one rare occasion, it had him breaking down in tears, genuinely having you question your own sight. Bertholdt Hoover was crying.
•Reiner:
Reiner doesn't really raise his voice in anger, or even fight back. He plain and simple silences himself, which only makes it worse because you have no idea what he's thinking or his thoughts on whatever you're saying.
Though the more you persist, you see clear body language that he's getting angrier, his jaw is clenched, his ears seem to redden and for some reason his fists are clammed shut, as if he's restraining himself from doing something.
Finally, he decides to speak, but it's not what you wanted or expected. Instead, he screamed an aggressive, "I DON'T KNOW!" As a response to your patronising and repetitive questions.
He leaves straight after yelling at you, his guilt ate him up, he could see you flinch, an indication that he may have scared you. He's only out for a while since all he could think of was you, he felt so bad, so miserable, so guilty that he doesn't even care about the issue anymore.
Coming back home late, he goes straight into the bedroom to find you hugging yourself on the edge of the bed, motionless in the dim sunset.
He wastes no time in slipping under the covers and tightly hugging you to his chest, sobbing out apologies that ache to even listen to. Honestly, dare I say that by the end of the day, you're both crying to each other in guilt.
•Jean:
Jean completely freaks out in the first argument, he's shocked that he's even disagreeing with you or vice versa.
It doesn't take long for the argument to get heated, and here he is, the first time you insult him, he's getting back at you with insults that he really doesn't mean. He's thinking in his head, "this isn't fucking true stop telling her this." Yet it spews out either way.
Jean in a way, isn't insulting you, he's insulting himself. He really hates himself for making you feel this way about something that could be solved if the both of you were just a bit more mature.
Yet he leaves to go stay at a friends house since he can't face you properly due to guilt. His phone is buzzing and exploding with messages from you, he can only think of how he doesn't deserve you.
But he does get his shit together and come back the next day, realising you were still in bed, hiding yourself in the covers. He starts the conversation off with an awkward, "Hey..." Before hugging your laying figure.
It's a hesitant apology, with a small promise he'll never treat you like this again.
•Armin:
He's really fragile it's difficult to argue with him. Sure he's mature and handles problems well with his organised thinking, but there are times were everything is jumbled up and he can't make sense of anything. What I'm saying is, he gets panic attacks mid arguments.
You'd have to calm him down and reassure him that you aren't against him, you're against the problem.
It takes a while for him to calm down, so you wait a while before talking like civilised humans, making decisions that would get rid of the issue you are fighting.
Erwin:
*dilf noises*
Erwin isn't a difficult person to argue with, it's just that, he's too calm for it to be normal, he's too understanding, you're going to be confused the entire time... how has the argument stayed so civilised so far?
Anything you propose, he'd take a few seconds to think about it before giving you his genuine thoughts. I think he's just extremely mature and sees no point in fighting about an issue that can easily be solved.
But arguments in which you get on his bad side will result in him being extremely cold to you, switching his kind young eyes into a freezing commander glare. You feel like you're being demanded, not spoken to.
•Zeke:
To me, Zeke is like that uneasy Miley Cyrus meme where she's staring into the camera creepily. He just stares a lot. He doesn't oppose or fight or make a point.
Once you stop talking and give him a moment to speak, he goes easy on you, when he speaks its calm and calculated, he leaves honesty but no hardcore bluntness.
The argument doesn't really go anywhere, he doesn't make a choice, he just tells you to do whatever you want to, with him only blankly staring at you, no emotion evident on his face.
It's difficult to get him to loosen up, you tell him he doesn't have to be so formal during conversations like these.
•Porco:
I previously said that Porco would take his anger out on the furniture but during the manga and latest episodes I see that he isn't as bad as I made him out to be. He's aggressive but is actually a good man inside and out.
During arguments, he's extremely sarcastic and makes you feel like a stupid fuck. But then again, you'd do it back to him, it ends up in a cuss battle between you two- but it somehow ends in both of you laughing at the creative insults you're coming for each other.
"What?" You stifle a laugh when you see him cover his face, his lips twitching up in resistance. "No-nothing...pffft-" he bursts out laughing, you finally joining him.
"Okay but seriously-" you both get back on track, this time, calmer.
•Hange:
During arguments, she just can't help but be flirtatious and playful. It isn't her fault, it's just the way she is- oop-
She can't help but get turned on when you frown like that. She's just weird yeah?
Though when realising how serious the situation is, she quickly straightens up and nods, "Okay, so..." and you begin to talk about the issue. Hange is really flexible when it comes to problems and deals with them well. So I doubt you have many quarrels.
•Pieck:
Like Hange, she's playful and flirty but not when it's time to be serious. Pieck is straightforward and intelligent when she needs to be.
When arguments get heated she doesn't argue or insult, she takes a seat and breathes deeply, mustering up a fake smile. It's easy for her to calm down, Pieck wouldn't dream of hurting anyone, she's just a tired girl trying to get through life so it's better if her significant other wasn't dramatic.
•Mikasa:
Mikasa doesn't care what you do or what the argument is about, whatever you say, she'll do. (Simp much?) I guess she's your ride or die.
As long as you aren't putting yourself in danger... otherwise she'll go to great extents to keep you safe, whether that means she'll hurt you in the process or not.
•Mike:
Miche pretty much communicates in grunts and hums, he doesn't enjoy wasting his breath but he kinda has to speaks. Instead he just grumbles about how unreasonable your being, his voice barely audible.
Surprisingly, he's very petty, and will enjoy doing small things to annoy you after an argument. Like, you'll sit next to him and he'll just grunt and turn his head away, crossing his arms over his chest like a jealous housewife.
Or when it's time to eat, he'll set the table with your side free of any untensils. Real unlucky if you got soup for that day lol.
•Sasha:
She can't care less. Sasha just pretends to understand what you're saying or acts like she cares, in reality she just wants you to stop talking about boring shit.
Sasha just blinks confusedly when you mention something difficult. I think this becomes so irritating that you start to insult her, which makes her insult you back.
Arguments like this result in silent treatment moments that aren't that serious. They only last a few hours.
•Annie:
-a lot of threatening words from her let me just quote, "You know when you start to act like this it really makes me want to kill you." Like wow 😐 shimbers are tivered
-Does calm down eventually *not too long* and apologises for threatening you and tells you that there's no excuse for saying something like that.
•Kenny:
Kenny can't really be asked to argue, he really doesn't care he just wants to get on with life and have fun in the process. He's more likely to have a petty argument with you, it's small but annoying
He has never yelled, he only speaks in a snarky tone that scares the shit out of you because you know he's dead serious- that being a rare thing.
As well as that, he doesn't threat, he's mostly asked mortifying questions, such as "Are you sure that's the entire truth?" Just phrases that people drop when they're about to ruin you.
•Niccolo:
-He tends to not feel guilty until after the argument, like he's making points after points hoping you'd understand him for one second at least -But the issue is probably that you two don't think of each others perspective until everything has calm down -Probably walks in on you facing away from the door and apologises sorrowfully. -"Hey... I don't like it when we're like this... I'm really sorry for yelling"- and this causes you too to apologise so you both don't last too long in an argument
•Colt:
-He's not argumentative at all, he'll often try ending it rather than continuing it on -But that doesn't mean he'll agree with everything you say, -Out of the two of you, you probably are the first to start yelling and he just begins to slowly raise his voice too -Won't let an hour pass where you two are mad at each other, it always ends in a guilty hug where you both admit to your wrongs.
•Yelena:
-I'm going to be completely honest with you, Yelena can gaslight and manipulate and will not hesitate to use her skills to win over the argument. -She may apologise first but you'll feel like absolute shit and make it up to her with constant hugs and reassurance. She didn't even have to cry. -(Do not tolerate this IRL please!) Her intentions may be good, with her trying to keep your relationship with her on good terms, it's unrealistic so I recommend you guys just talk it out
•Moblit
-Moblit doesn't want to argue any more than you do so he'll try to think of a way the both of you can come round. If not, he tends to yell at you with a croaked voice because he hates it when you two are like this. Maybe even a few tears threaten to slip but he'd not allow himself to cry.
Still, though, he does break at some point and completely rejects your comfort, leaving to go be by himself for a while to think over a few things and calm down. When he comes back he's ready to accept your comfort and apology.
