A/N
Before I start this chapter I just want to say that in this Jayla and Star are the same age as Javon and Jaden just for the story line but Jayla will still be able to drive so she will be on the older side of the grade by saying she's 16 not 17 and Star is about to turn 16, I also do not proof read my chapter before I publish them that just takes a lot of effort. I also do not have a schedule on when I post I just do it when I feel like it. Also I'm not very good at POVS so I don't know what I'm gonna do with those but I'll probably work it out.

Third person POV:
Star sat there as the lady gave her one last look in awe then called over the loud speaker for a Jayla Walton.
Star thought the last name Walton sounded familiar but she wasn't gonna question it she sat there patiently and eventually she got bored of just sitting there so she went on her phone once again replying to her friends back in Australia.
Stars POV:
Around 10 minutes had passed and the first bell had rung so the office lady decided to call Jaylas name again and soon enough a girl around her age long dark black hair, extremely pretty had walked in. But if I'm being honest she looks like one of the girls I wouldn't make eye contact with back in Australia in fear of getting into a random fight over a single look, but I wasn't to scared here.
"Do you mind if you show this young lady around she's new" "yeah totally" whom I assumed was Jayla said to the lady at the front desk then she walked over to where I was sitting and held her hand out "I'm Jayla, Jayla Walton" I looked at her hand and shook it "Star" I replied and we both smiled "are you not from this country you have an accent" she asked "yeah nah I'm from Australia I only moved here during the holidays" "oh god please tell me all about it when we get the chance we don't get to learn much about other countries here, it's stupid in my opinion" Jayla said smiling.
She genuinely seemed interested in me which I adored.
"I'll 100% tell you about Australia" I replied to her smiling. We walked out of the office and Jayla looked both ways "do you uh vape?" She asked quietly, I just looked at her "do you?" She slowly nodded and I smiled wide and nodded aswell "bathroom break before class?" And she nodded eagerly showing me to her favourite bathrooms in the school. She made sure nobody else was in there and we went into the same stall and I pulled mine out of my bra and she pulled hers out of her bag "why do you keep it in your bra?" Jayla questioned "well at my old school we always got bag searched and so it's just kind of instinct to put it in my bra" "oh shit that makes so much sense".
I smiled at her "what flavour is yours?" I asked "grape ice, yours?" "Cool mint, wanna try?" "Yes of course" we switched and we're just talking about random things.
"Oh shit it's been 5 mins I still have to show you your locker" we quickly had 1 more hit and gave it back to eachother and we both put it in our bras this time.
We walked out of the bathroom and she started walking me to my locker. "Do you have any siblings?" She asked me "nah only child, you?" "Yeah I got 3" "damn do any of them go here" I asked "yeah 2 of them Jaden and Javon the other one is to young his names Daelo though" she said "you must always have an adventure" "yeah I do a bit" she said smiling.
"Anyway this is your locker" she said showing me the locker. I smiled "thankyou" but I just kind of looked at the lock on it "uh how the fuck do you use this lock" "oh right" she says laughing slightly and showing me how to do it "thanks" I say trying not to laugh at my own stupidity.
"Can I look at your timetable?" She asked and I just nodded and handed her my time table " ooo we have some classes together" she said smiling I put some food in my locker and closed it. Since I've never really had a locker I don't really know what to do with it so I guess I'll keep it as a snack locker or some shit.
I smiled back at her "that's good then" "I'm sorry but I am in love with your accent" she said slightly laughing and I laugh a bit along with her "it's alright".
"Ready for class?" She asked me and I just nodded and she started walking me to my first class.
As we were basically at the class she stopped and asked for my snap, I smiled and put it in her phone then added her back. "This is your class so have fun in math" she smiled "oh I'll have so much fun" I sarcastically replied to her and smiled back.
I walked into the class slightly late and the teacher turned to look at me and she walked over "who are you?" She questioned.
God she sounded like a bitch.
"Star Whitewood, I'm new" "right" she said walking back to her roll and marking me present.
"Well hurry up take a seat" I gave her a dirty look and sat down near the back and put my AirPods in not really paying attention to what she said as she had already pissed me off.
I looked back down at my phone and saw that Jayla snapped me and so I opened it and it was just a video of her rolling her eyes then smiling at the camera.
I smiled watching it then copied what she did rolling my eyes then smiling at the camera.
Third person POV:
Stars life back in Australia was probably the best it was ever going to get she thought, having her main friends, Astra well that's just what they called her, Nate and Cody the four of them were the 'iconic' friend group but they never really hung out at school because 1 of them was always suspended or wasn't there.
But when Star still lived in Australia her parents actually cared about wether she drank, smoked anything really so that's how Star had become so good at lying and coming up with things on the spot, everyone always knew to be quiet and not talk if they were getting in trouble with Star because she could always find a way out of it.
But the one thing her friend group was scared of was Stars mother. She was skinny but not overly skinny, long pin straight black hair, eyebrow piercing, always had a pack of cigarettes and a lighter on her, she was a bogan mum and everyone knew it so nobody ever wanted to mess with Star because of her mother and also because they knew Star cloud literally win any fight, wether they were tall and buff, short and skinny, anything really she only ever lost her first fight.
Astra, Cody and Nate were all usually nice people, well not as much Cody once you're on his bad side it's extremely tough to get back on his good side.
Nate, even if you got back onto his good side he will just shit talk you unless you guys got really close, like closer than you were before.
Astra, she was something else she didn't really like anyone but she was nice to everyone unless she had a reason to dislike you then she really dislikes you, but she always had Stars back and Star loved that about her.

A/N
I wanted to include a little bit more of stars backstory and her friend group from Australia and how her life used to be, I know the story hasn't really got any spice yet but trust me it's getting there, but I guess you could say this is a bit of a slow burn.
