You work through your weekend with no problems. The air between you and Dominic seems pretty clear now after your argument. One night at work you go out onto the floor to visit Luca. He runs and jumps into your arms as soon as you walk through the door.

You smile as you hug him, "its good to see you to buddy."

Luca smiles, "I missed you Ana! But I'm all better and get to go home this week!"

You smile and look at Nikki and Antonio, "really? Thats great buddy!" He climbs down from your arms and Nikki approaches you.

"He really did miss you this week. I can't thank you enough Ana. You really helped us all through this tough time. I'm sure this isn't the last of this place that we will see but we know that you will be here to help. Especially considering you are seeing Dominic now. I hope all that's going well." She gives you a small wink.

You nod and smile at her, "so far its going fine." You don't dive into detail of everything that has happened over the last week.

Antonio walks over and puts a hand on your shoulder, "can we go in the hall and talk for a minute Ana?"

You nod and follow him out.

"Dominic told me what's going on. I'm so sorry about what happened with your ex. You are to sweet of a girl to deal with that."

You lower your gaze and look at the floor as he speaks.

"I just want you to know that Dominic will keep you safe at all costs. If he is suggesting that you stop work for a little bit I recommend listening to him. He has your best interest at heart; truly. Just put your faith in him and all of us."

You feel a small pain in your heart listening to Antonio. You know that he is right but youre being a stubborn ass about giving up work. But Dominic said it would only be a few weeks. So that's not so bad right?

"I appreciate that Antonio. Its just a lot to take in at once I guess. I've worked so hard for the life I have and I don't want Nathan to swoop in and ruin. Plus I still have to pay off my dad's debt. I don't have enough money in my savings to pay while I'm off for a few weeks so I'm kinda stuck."

He shakes his head, "you don't need to worry about that Ana. Dominic will take care of it."

"I'm not letting him pay off that debt. That isn't his burden to bare."

Antonio gives a sad smile, "it isn't yours either. You didn't borrow that money."

"I know that; but I'm not letting them kill my dad either. He's the only family I have left. I'll figure it out. I need to head back to the unit. It was good seeing you all, give Luca a kiss from me." You give him a smile.

He grabs your shoulder before you walk off, "just hear Dominic out okay? He really just wants to keep you safe."

You nod and walk back to your unit.

You finish off the weekend and are in the car with Leo heading back to the mansion. You look over at him, "did anything fun happen while I was working this weekend?"

Leo smiles, "there was a rather interesting poker game Saturday night. It ended with lots of cursing and glasses being thrown."

You laugh, "well damn, sad I missed it. You'll have to include me in the next poker night."

"But of course," he laughs.

The car pulls in front of the house and you get out. You decide to go talk to Dominic about the work situation. You head straight to his office still in your scrubs.

You knock softly and hear him yell come in.

You quietly walk into the office and see him working away on his computer. He hasn't even looked up to see who came in.
