Seeing Naruto change they grew curious at what had happened to (y/n) first thing they knew, Pain had invaded then all of a sudden. Then Kasuyu said (y/n) suddenly appeared to fight against Pain and now there was no sign of her anywhere.
"Kasuyu, if Naruto has transformed, where's (y/n)?" he asked, desperation laced his voice.
The slug looked up at the man and looked back at the battle grounds before looking down in silence.
"she can't be.." he pushed himself up despite the rough state he was in.
"3 minutes.." Kasuyu said.
"what?"
"she's been gone for 3 minutes."
"No! Check it again!"
"I have. She hasn't been breathing for a while now."
"Screw this." they pushed themselves up and moved towards the crater despite the warnings their friends and teammates yelled.
The small possibility of her death grew more and more as he tried to maneuver his way down.
The more he got closer the more the winds blew but that didn't stop him.

He crouched beside her limp fugire impaled with the metal rods. He brought his shaky hands to cup her now ice cold cheeks.
