Chapter 231: Catching Up

"Done."

I handed the test paper to Aizawa sensei to check. This was the last exam I had to take. Next thing I have to do is catch up with where my classmates are right now with their lectures and finish 2 quizzes. Then I should be able to join them in class but in the meantime I'm gonna savor this small break as he checks my paper.

I could feel the migraine slowly building, the wrinkles forming.. Do I feel wight hair growing too?

Our heads tured to the open window by our side.

Ah yes. How could anyone forget Konoha. I swear. What in the world do they need? I already created a plan and laid it out for her. Aside from the current contracts that needed signing there should be nothing that Lady Tsunade needs me for.

I sighed and excused myself as I walked towards the messenger eagle.

"i thought your tasks for Konoha was done ages ago?" Gray yawned, stretching as he stood up to follow me.

"Supposedly."

I scratched the eagle's neck and took the scroll strapped on its back. As a reward for the bird's hard work I gave it a hand full of frozen meat.

I walked over to the table where I had claimed as my temporary work desk and study table with Aizawa sensei. Placing it down I began unraveling it's secrets.

My expression dropped to a bothered and annoyed one. Not only did they manage to lose the contracts for the next batch of construction supplies, they lost the receipt for Lady Tsunade's depts that were paid by me. Now I know it's not with me since I just gave it to them earlier today.

I sighed trying to keep my anger in.

Gray looked at me.

"So what now?"

"i have copies of the contracts. As for Lady Tsunade, I'll deal with her later.-"

I packed and sent the contracts and continued my studies.

The news of her taking over as Hokage surely spread like wild fire. So it's no surprise that those who she asked money for are going to look for another way to cheat and receive their money twice. They think they can just waltz in and demand money accusing us that we haven't paid...

I knew I shouldn't have given those documents to someone already drunk early in the morning...

I'm going to let m'lady handle this for a bit.. I'll deal with them later.

"alright. We're done with catching up so you may join them in class tomorrow but as for now, the only thing you need to work on is your internship program that was cut short."

"so I'm going back with Fatgum?"

"Not exactly."

(y/n) furrowed her brow and looked at him edging him to continue.

"There's a chance you might be transfered to another agency for temporary guidance. Fatgum will inform you tomorrow."

"oh.." she nodded as she tucked her things away.

Maybe she lost it when she was working under him a while back.
That was her assumption anyways. Maybe they finally had enough or found her too dangerous.
