Part 9
After work I drove to Jared's house. We didn't do anything funky we just slept an in the morning we woke up early to drive to Dion's wedding.
"I can't believe Dion's getting married. Like out of all of us you wouldn't think Dion would first." I say to Jared scratching my head
"Yeh well your probs going to be next." Jared says turning on the A.C.
"What do you mean?" I ask in confusion
"Nobody ever dates me and Kayden's already thinking about it." Jared answers as he grips the steering wheel tighter.
"Ok firstly what makes you think I want to marry Kayden and second go to a club sometime meet someone. Why are you so tense geez" I say looking towards the window.
"My ex is going to be at this wedding." Jared sighs.
"Bruh no one at this wedding even knows me yet I'm a bridesmaid. Want me to make your ex jealous?" I ask
"Yeh at least then she won't be such a bitch to me." Jared smiles
Yeh but like if she's not a bitch to him who's she going to be a bitch to. I ain't taking no shit from a worthless basic chick who broke my besties heart.
5 hours later we arrive at the destination. We find Dion who tells us where we go to get dressed and makeup and shit.
The other bridesmaids arrive. I know no one at this wedding except for Dion and Jared. Fuck I don't even know his wife only that her name is.... Shit I don't even know that. Why am I even invited to this wedding???
"Who are you?" A blonde bridesmaid asks.
"Oh hi.. I'm Ray" I introduce my self
"Hmm so your with Jared right." She asks
"Uhh yeh. Who are you?" I question
"I'm Taylor. Jared's ex" She answers giving a smirk.
"Oh I don't believe he's mentioned you." I say looking like I'm trying to think.
"I know he still loves me" Taylor says as she turns and walks off.
Well hopefully she won't try and start shit.
"Oh my god!!! You must be Ray. Dion's told me so much about you." A women wearing a dressing gown says grabbing my arm.
"yeh...." I say looking at her hand on my arm.
"Oh sorry so rude of me. I'm Emily. Dion's soon to be wife!!!" She says giving me a hug.
WHAT THE FUCK HOW DID DION END UP WITH SOME ONE SO HAPPY!!!!!
I giggle with her for a bit then the ceremony begins.
I'm wearing a blue dress as long as my knees and it has a cute little train that hovers just above the ground. I walk down the aisle with Jared linking our arms. I could never picture me getting married to Kayden.
After the ceremony we go inside where the party gets started! Everyone starts dancing and drinking and having a good time. Then I get told all the bridesmaids and grooms men have to give a speech.
All the grooms men go first talking about there funny memories. A few of the bridesmaids go then I watch Taylor step up to the stage.
"I'm so proud of Emily and Dion for finding each other. I've been friends with Emily since we were probably as old as 3 and uhh omg you've grown so much it makes me want to cry. I remember that one time in high school when you were making out with Tommy and then you saw me upset and asked if I wanted to join."
Everyone just sits there quietly and stares at Taylor As she keeps talking about these so called "good memories"
"Some of us are here because were good friends or others here because there are Ex boyfriends 2nd pick I'm so happy to see all your some what beautiful faces and congratulate the bride and groom." Taylor says finishing her speech and taking a sip of some fruity punch or something.
I then get pushed up on stage by Taylor as she stares at me.
"Don't choke" Taylor says giving me a death stare.
I walk up to the microphone not holding a drink but holy shit I definitely needed one.
"Hello everyone you probably don't know me I'm Ray I am here on be half of Dion as I've known him since high school and didn't expect him to grow up into the fine man he is today. I wanted to congratulate the couple here in front of us today, even though I don't have memories with Emily I do with Dion. I know I haven't been friends with Emily since I was 3 but I don't need to be because I can clearly see she is a wonderful women and I hope I'll get to know her better in future. Dion, Jared and I have been friends since high school they were there for me when my friends were ignoring me or I just wanted to hang out. Sure we did some dumb stuff but sometimes the stupid mistakes in life create the best memories. I can not remember any of the days spent with Dion being boring. I'm so grateful to Emily for letting me be apart of her wedding even though she barley knows me. So congrats to yous for finding what you love in each other but I need a drink from all this talking and I'm sure everyone wants to party so I'll leave it at that." I say as I walk of the stage and head straight to the bar.
Before I even take a sip of my drink I here Taylors voice back on the mic.
"Jared I know you still love me. Come on ditch that whore and come back to me" Taylor says as I turn around and everyone is staring at me.
Ehem this bitch trying to ruin this wedding.
