Damm I cant believe Halston agreed. I'm going to text her just in case Tempest is bullshitting me.
Me:*Hey Halston did you actually agree to sleep with Kayden???*
Halston:*Well Tempest said he'd pay for our drinks and also kinda black mailed me into doing it by bringing "up you know who"*
Me:*Yeh he kinda has a way with words and blackmailing people its really concerning anyway good luck tonight*
Halston:*Are you going to go to Leo's house tonight???*
Me:*probably I mean my house is going to be taken sooo*
Halston:*yeh sorry...*
Me:*don't worry about it.*
Halston:*well I better get ready I'll text you tomorrow*
Me:*ok bye*
I call Leo.
"Hi" Leo says answering the phone
"Hey what are you doing tonight???" I ask
"Nothing because your stupid boyfriend says he has plans tonight??" Leo answers
"Oh he's going out with Halston and Tempest" I explain
"Are you going???" Leo questions
"Nope. That's why I'm seeing if your free tonight." I answer
"Wait! Isn't Halston and Tempest your friends though?" Leo says in a confused way
"Well yeh but I told him to go hangout with them so for future events he knows who I'm talking about when I say there name." I explain with false facts because the truth is Tempest most likely black mailed Kayden into doing it.
SIREOUSLY I HAVE GOT TO START QUESTIONING WHY IM FRIENDS WITH HIM!!!!!
"Well I'm free if you want to come over." Leo says changing his voice to a more happy tone.
"Ok well ill see you after work around 10" I say smiling to my phone
FUCK AM I IN LOVE WITH THE ONE GUY I CANT HAVE??????
"Hey are you still there???" Leo asks
"Oh! sorry must have zoned out. What did you say???"I say wondering???
"Umm don't worry about it I'll see you tonight" Leo says as he hangs up
Ok well I should get ready for work its almost 4:30
I put on my shitty office outfit but it's a bit cold out side so I put fishnet tights on and a hoodie on just until I get into the office. I grab a bag just in case I end up staying at Leo's house tonight.
I walk outside to my red Ford Mustang GT where I then drive to the office. Out of all the cars in my offices car park my car is probably the poorest looking one next to the Lamborghini my boss owns it doesn't look that good so I try to park at least 12 spaces away from her car.
"Hey Ray can you file these documents and then make sure Bianca still wants her job because If she doesn't get that paper on my desk in the next 5 minutes she can kiss this job goodbye" Marley my boss says to me as soon as I step into the building
"Ok. You sound like you need a coffee" I reply to me boss as she steps into the elevator
"Please your the best Ray!" Marley says blowing a kiss
I walk over to Layla's desk the girl she thought was Bianca.
"Hey Layla do you have that paper Marley asked for?" I ask giving her look that I gave her last week before she almost got fired for the 3rd time.
"Oh shit yes. I'm so sorry Ray I promise I'll be on time next time." Layla says handing me the wrong file
"Well there wont be a next time if you hand me the wrong paper" I say passing it back to her.
"I'm so sorry!!" Layla says as she scavenges around her desk trying to find the paper.
"How about I come back in a few minutes and if you don't have it by then then you should probably disappear before Marley fires you." I say as I turn to walk to the coffee machine.
When I come back Layla's gone. I see the paper she was looking for sitting in the corner of her desk near the printer probably the only place she didn't look.
I finish my shift and I walk out to the car park where i see Layla looking like she's going to jump of the side of the building. Its not tall enough for her to Ctrl Alt Delete her self but definitely tall enough for her to claim insurance.
"Layla WTF are you doing???" I ask as I walk up to her
"I failed at one simple task what is wrong with me. I have no where for me to go." She says crying to me
"Layla can you come down please! Your not fired I found the paper." I say trying to convince her to not embarrass her self.
"It doesn't matter this job is crazy hard and Marley doesn't even know my name" Layla says still crying
Ok what she said was obviously true but still....
"Do you want to get dinner? I can tell you all about my first day at the office." I ask hoping that maybe she will listen to me
"Really? Your so nice Ray I wish I could work as hard as you" She says as she turns to face me
I grab her hand and pull her into a hug because well she definitely needs it
"Come on lets go get food on me!" I say as I unlock my car
"Thank you" she whispers as I turn on the engine
"You ready to go fast!?" I say pushing on the accelerator
I guess this feeling of hanging out with someone who could possibly turn into a good friend is better then trying to win a bet. I'll text Leo I will be late but for now I'm going to enjoy hanging out with a friend who's not trying to blackmail me into doing something sketch.
